Disney+ Lines Up Korean Movies To Stream In January and February

Unveiling the roster of Korean films to look forward to, streaming platform Disney+ would surely delight viewers anticipating these movie treats.

So, mark your calendars and ready your popcorn for these upcoming releases.

January 18 | Confidential Assignment 2

Released on September 7, 2022; the Hyun Bin starrer amassed nearly 7 million viewers. The film also stars Yoo Hai Jin, Daniel Henney and Im Yoon Ah.

It is a film depicting a triangular cooperation investigation by detectives united for their own purposes.

January 27 | The Wailing

The award-winning film helmed by Director Na Hong Jin follows the story of people mysteriously intertwined in strange rumors and mysterious events that started after an outsider appeared.

It won the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards for Best Film and the 37th Blue Dragon Film Award for Best Director. It also stars Kwak Do Won, Hwang Jung Min, Kunimura Jun, Chun Woo Hee, and Kim Hwan Hee.

February 1 | Remember

Lee Sung Min will again grace his presence on Disney+ after Shadow Detective. Together with Nam Joo Hyuk, his latest film, Remember, opens love month on the video platform.

Remember traverses how Pil-ju, an 80-year-old Alzheimer’s patient sets forth to complete his revenge planned for 60 years before his memory disappears.

February 8 | 6/45

6/45 is a comedy film about North and South Korean soldiers vying for a winning lotto ticket that crossed the demarcation line because of the strong wind.

Leading the cast are Go Kyung Pyo and Lee Yi Kyung. Released in the summer of 2022 the film generated interest with fresh ideas and excellent humor.
