Lee Hyun Woo Joins The Korean Version Of “La Casa De Papel

Lee Hyun Woo confirms taking part in the Korean version of La Casa De Papel as Rio.

The Netflix Korean adaptation will be the post-military drama of Hyun Woo since The Liar and His Lover.

La Casa De Papel or Money Heist is a popular Netflix Series that gained a lot of praise because of its thrilling plot and the different portrayal of the characters which have their own different personalities. Lee Hyun Woo joins the team as he plays the character of Rio which is the youngest among the gang.

In the Spanish version of La Casa De Papel, Miguel Herran who played Rio is known to be very good at hacking systems that are needed on their heist. However, Rio as a teenager easily falls in love with Tokyo (Ursula Corbero) even though romantic relationships are prohibited in the team by the Professor because they may have emotional attachments that may affect their mission. 

In the Korean version, many viewers are excited about how Lee Hyun Woo would portray Rio’s character along with the other actors. This film became one of the hot topics on the internet because viewers can’t get enough of the different twists and turns of the series.

All of his dramas usually depict his charming character, however, in the upcoming series of “La Casa De Papel” he would go out of his box and explore his acting spectrum because certainly, the film would be composed of action scenes because of their different encounters on their heists.
