MONSTA X’s Hyungwon To Star In Web Drama “Fly High”

The golden idol Hyungwon of MONSTA X soars high on the stage of acting once again in Fly High

Fly High follows the lives of idols and their stories in the spotlight. As an idol himself, Hyungwon is a perfect fit for this web drama.

On June 8, Starship Entertainment confirmed the appearance of Hyungwon in the new web series. The agency announced, “Hyungwon has confirmed to star in the web drama, Fly High. He will be playing the male lead Han Yo-han.”

Chae Hyungwon is not unfamiliar with performing on this type of stage. Aside from doing music, this all-around artist starred and appeared in different television shows.

The idol has challenged himself in 2015 with the web drama High-End Crush and the KBS2 TV sitcom, Jun Nam Lee.

In 2017, Hyungwon finally got his first spot as a lead role in Please Find Her. Achieving his second lead role in Fly High, the idol starts filming once his activities with MONSTA X completes.

In addition, he expanded his acting skills by appearing in guest roles in Hello Mr. Right, Hit The Top, Bad Papa, and Followers.

Fans all over the world are head-over-heels for this diverse idol and actor. Apart from being good-looking and acting well, he also pursues dance choreography, songwriting, and DJ. 

Hyungwon first started in 2017 as DJ H.ONE. He participated in arranging and writing most of their group tracks. MONSTA X Fatal Love’ Nobody Else is partially composed, arranged, and written by him as well.

Other than working on their songs, he released his track titled 1(One) on the ‘Mix and the City pt. 2’ produced by Justin Oh. His other tracks are BAM!BAM!BAM!, and My Name.
