“Alchemy of Souls Part 2” Arrives With Mysterious Posters Featuring Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung

Promising the continuing story of the hit series, Alchemy of Souls Part 2 parades character posters of its main cast!

tvN’s fantasy romance drama Alchemy of Souls Part 2 continues to tell the story of how young mages grow and overcome their twisted fates in a fictional country that is nonexistent in history or maps called Daeho.

The second season will follow the story of Jang Wook (Lee Jae Wook), who came back alive after his death, and the stories of new mages three years later.

Ahead of its premiere on December 10, the drama unveils the character posters of Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung.

Standing alone in the haze, Lee Jae Wook is staring fiercely at somewhere while powerfully holding onto his sword. His eerie and monster-like eyes manifest an intense and spectral atmosphere. Piquing the curiosity of the viewers to his character and story after rising from the dead, the poster reads, “Ominous and lunatic. I should have died at that time.”

The character poster of Go Yoon Jung as Naksu captures her mysterious yet enchanting beauty. Enigmatic and dreamlike, she is a red rose personified. While her character poster reads, “I really want to know who I am”, her keen deep-set eyes further amplify the curiosity of viewers about her obscure identity.

In particular, the second season will be focusing on the relationship between light and shadow, which also takes the series’ subtitle. Jang Wook’s name signifies light while Naksu contains the meaning of shadow spirit.  Like light and shadow, their relationship indicates an inseparable fate. It raises curiosity about how the two will continue their relationship in the future.
