Scheduled to release on February 15, a more explosive narrative awaits the second season of Big Bet.
Portraying the extreme encounters of casino legend Cha Moo-sik (Choi Min Sik) in the Philippines, Disney+ original series Big Bet follows the last gamble of the casino legend in life after being entangled in numerous murder cases.
Expected to complete the compelling story it began from its first season, newly released stills of the second season highlight the powerful presence brought by the characters of actors Choi Min Sik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Dong Hwi, and Heo Sung Tae. Raising anticipation for its premiere, Big Bet Season 2 will release its first three episodes on February 15, then followed by one episode every Wednesday.

An Intense Chase
Coming from nothing, Choi Min Sik’s character Cha Moo-sik rises as an influential person in the casino scene. However, he gets involved with several murders, and gets pinned as the prime suspect in Mr. Min’s murder. Pursued by the local police after the several murders that transpired, Moo-sik’s narrative raises curiosity in the second season.
Meanwhile, Son Suk Ku’s character remains passionate on his pursuit in the Philippines. Keen and competent in investigating the murders, his character senses the need to dig into casino legend Cha Moo-sik.
Character Transformation
Expected to have changes in his character in the second season, Lee Dong Hwi’s character Jung-pal reveals a possibility of breaking the trust of Cha Moo-sik. After being the loyal right-hand man of the casino legend, an incident shifts their partnership, which can be looked forward to in the second season.
Also raising expectations is Heo Sung Tae whose character aimed a gun at Cha Moo-sik at the first season’s finale. Resuming from that scene in the first season, his appearance in the second season continues to stir interest.
