Mysterious hooded figures and bloodstains in the snow leave more questions unanswered in the new Jirisan video teaser.

Lead stars Gianna Jun and Ju Ji Hoon also hint at an interesting connection as partners in their job as mountain rangers in Jirisan.

Created by director Lee Eung-bok (Descendants of The Sun, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God) and writer Kim Eun-hee (SignalKingdom), Jirisan is set to premiere globally and exclusively on iQiyi on October 23rd and simulcast with Korea.

In the latest video teaser revealed, it shows national park rangers Jun and Ju are on a mission together in the mountains. Ju Ji Hoon and Gianna Jun are seen having a casual conversation in the park. Then, a series of conversations follow with other park rangers talking about Ju being the rookie in the group.

It soon takes the viewers deeper into the mysteries of the mountain revealing more blood and unidentified figures that seem to bring havoc to the safety of all the mountain rangers and visitors.

Fans worldwide can look forward to the lead pair’s on-screen chemistry. As revealed in the sneak peek, Ju is seen holding Jun’s hand, which she perceives to be unnecessary. Ju smilingly replies “Shall we set off together? Or do you think I’m tired and you are helping me? Or this?” while raising their hands up.

Ju’s playful gesture leaves Jun seemingly confused with his “strange behavior”. Clad in National Park Ranger Haidong branch jackets, like a couple’s matching outfit, they search through the forest and even fall to the ground together accidentally.

When asked about the leads‘ interaction, the production team shared their intention to portray the sweet ambiguity and anxiety before a couple enters a relationship.

Just as clues were delivered in previous suspenseful teasers and posters, the latest clip also points to unspeakable secrets on Jirisan. Climbers are attacked and murdered in the snow, while a mysterious hooded figure is seen walking into the forest.

Colored ribbons are tied to branches, while Jun is heard saying, “The perpetrator is someone else,” leaving even more questions to viewers.
