MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama, Joseon Attorney, unveils a striking poster featuring its lead pair.
Joseon Lawyer depicts the story of a Joseon-era lawyer who takes revenge on enemies who killed his parents by utilizing his trial skills. Moreover, his character also grows into a real lawyer for the people.
It is a delightful and exhilarating Joseon Dynasty court retribution action drama that shows that true payback is valuable when doing righteous things.
“Joseon Attorney” Displays Synergy Of Woo Do Hwan, Kim Ji Yeon and Cha Hak Yeon
Portraying Kang Han-soo, Woo Do Hwan challenges a role that is similar to today’s brain-sexy man. Interestingly, Kang Han-soo is dubbed a “suitmaker” who causes all sorts of lawsuits to take revenge on the enemies of his parents who were unfairly killed.
When it comes to the law, he is a knowledgeable person who not only covers civil law, commercial law, and criminal law, but also masters the laws of the Ming Dynasty, the Analects, and other foreign laws.
Challenging her first historical drama, Kim Ji Yeon plays the role of Lee Yeon-ju, the daughter of the late king.
Her father, King Seon, lost his life after failing to finish the compilation of the code of law that his father worked so hard on. Yeon-ju wants to avenge her father and drive the evil ministers out of the court.
She is a true noblesse oblige who believes that revenge is ultimately only worthwhile when it is for the sake of the country and the people. From there, she takes a new identity as Sowon who will face turbulent events.
While anticipation is gathering for Joseon Lawyer, the unveiled arresting poster attracts attention.
Against the backdrop of a blue sky, Han-soo sits on a donkey exchanging warm gazes with Yeon-ju.
On the poster, it says: “I want to live for the first time” hinting at a special relationship they will share.
The production team tips on the connection between the two.
