Ryu Jun Yeol as Kang Jae

Staring while in deep contemplation, Ryu Jun Yeol’s side profile in the newly released character poster emits a sense of emptiness and loneliness. The actor is set to transform into Kang Jae, a character who aspires to become rich, escaping the genes of poverty.  “I was not in it, acting as a lover, friend, guest, and mourner, ” the phrase in the poster implies the type of twisted life Kang Jae is living.

The character teaser video featuring Ryu Jun Yeol presents Kang Jae restless in his bed because of his difficulty of falling asleep. His tired eyes exude anxiety and a life full of emptiness. Kang Jae represents an aspect of the youth who has lost its light while living a life without any dreams or hope.

Jeon Do Yeon as Bu Jung

In the new character poster released, Jeon Do Yeon’s detailed emotional acting is captured through her eyes. A mix of sadness, pain, and frustration may be seen through the expression of the acclaimed actress in the poster. The phrase in the poster, “Wife, daughter-in-law, daughter, ghostwriter, I wasn’t in it,” sparks curiosity as it hints at the emptiness felt by the character.

Together with the poster, a character teaser is also released which presents the exhausting life of Bu Jung. Lifting her body while lying on one side of a dark living room, Bu Jung is introduced as a character that will express deep emotions such as loss, anxiety, and emptiness.
