JTBC is set to continue its weekend-drama winning streak in Miraculous Brother!
Miraculous Brothers tells the story of Yuk Dong-ju, an aspiring writer who wants to be Yun Dong-ju but is only in debt, and Kang San, an unidentified boy with special abilities and creates a miracle through finding the truth beyond the boundaries of time.
This is the 11th work of director Park Chan-hong and writer Kim Ji-woo, who have worked together for 24 years. They are known to have shown insightful views about human connection and in-depth narratives of different classes.
Jung Woo plays Yuk Dong-joo, an aspiring writer. Dong-ju showed a talent for writing aptly matching the name given by his father who loved the poet Yoon Dong-ju, but he has not been successful in life for 7 years after graduating from the Korean Literature Department.
What’s more, he has only debts and a troubled mother, so he is writing a novel while enduring the hardships of his life with various part-time jobs.
One day, a mysterious young man falls into Dong-ju’s life. He seems to have nowhere else to go. From there, he gets caught up in an unexpected mystery.
Bae Hyun Sung takes on the role of Kang San, an unidentified boy with special abilities. Kang San, who lost his memory in an accident and doesn’t know his name or age, has a cryptic ability. He can feel the pain and despair of others and he can also read hearts.
Unfortunately, he is the type who does not disregard. He is really sincere and can’t stand injustice so he rushes to it.
Dong-ju, who is already struggling to control himself, happens to take on Kang-san, who knows nothing about him, and his life becomes more diverse. Because of him, he gravitates into the lives of people who are engulfed in pain and despair.
The production team further shares what to expect in the series.

Miraculous Brothers will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on June 28, following the spot to be vacated by The Good Bad Mother.
