Cha Tae Hyun and Jung Jin Young Depict Their Professor-Student Relationship In “Police University” Poster

Police University, starring Cha Tae Hyun and Jung Jin Young, reveals a new vibrant drama poster!

Premiering on August 9, Police University follows the story of Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun), a passionate detective-turned-professor whose life revolves around chasing criminals.

He will meet Kang Sun Ho (Jung Jin Young) a former hacker and is now his student who uses his intelligence in deciphering every case.

Despite clashing fiercely, veteran detective Yoo Dong Man and the 19-year old genius hacker Kang Sun Ho will affectionately work together and show cross-generational chemistry.

Depicting an amusing atmosphere, Cha Tae Hyun approaches Jung Jin Young, locking his arms around his neck. The message above his head reads, “Do you want to be a police officer? Come here, I’ll teach you.”

While caught in Cha Tae Hyun’s embrace, Jung Jin Young seems to respond awkwardly as the text beside him translates, “P… please take good care of me.” This further hints that they will inevitably become entangled with one another.

Raising anticipations for their chemistry with contrasting personalities and charms, Cha Tae Hyun portrays a relaxed pose in his police uniform while Jung Jin Young shows off his fresh charm in a school uniform.

Particularly, Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun) represents the older generation who runs whenever and wherever an incident occurred. Meanwhile, Kang Sun Ho (Jung Jin Young) represents the current digital generation who uses his intelligence to become a genius hacker.

With this, viewers are curious to see what kind of relationship will be formed as two people with vast personalities meet as a professor and student in a police university.

Scriptwriter Min Jung expressed, “Police University is a story about the growth of young adults. At the same time, it is a detective story that revolves around solving different cases which is central to the entire plot of the drama. The students who dream of becoming police officers and the professors who teach them are considered both teachers and students as well as partners. Please look forward to how two people in different generations solve each case and undergo the process of understanding and encouraging each other.”

Police University will premiere on August 9 at 9:30 PM KST.  It will be available on the online video service platform wavve.

Global fans can watch it on Viu.
