“The Heavenly Idol” Flaunts Lead Stars In Floral-Themed Main Poster

Sacred Idol

Kim Min Kyu and Go Bo Gyeol are ready to blossom in an endearing love story in The Heavenly Idol.

The Heavenly Idol is a fantasy-romance drama about a god of another world possessed by the body of an unknown idol. It is based on a popular novel (Holy Idol LT) that has since been adapted into a webtoon owing to the love received from fans.

Suiting up to the titular role, Kim Min Kyu portrays Lembrary, after a battle with the demon king, he wakes up inside the body of a handsome idol named Woo Yeon-woo.

K-Drama fans can look forward to the comedy of the story since a “holy god” is supposed to adapt to an idol life. Interestingly, avid Kim Min Kyu fans know that he can sing well, thus, making his new role worth checking out.

Meanwhile, Go Bo Gyeol, who plays the role of Kim Dal, a manager of Wild Animal and a fan of Woo Yeon-woo, raises the level of immersion by comically and cutely coping with the chaotic situation in which his favorite idol has become a different person.

For the drama adaptation, romance will be inserted to elevate the charming points of the original work. Inevitably, Kim’s acting transformation anticipates heart-fluttering moments for viewers.

Surrounded by flowers in full bloom, the love pairing attracts attention with its fascinating feel. Exuding contrasting expressions, Go Bo Gyeol beams brightly while putting a crown on Woo Yeon-woo who looks adorably surprised.

It hints at the situation in which Lembrary, the world’s best high priest suddenly became an idol member. Keen to make her plan of making him succeed, Go Bo Gyeol smiles confidently.

On the poster, the text written: God, please let me succeed as an idol” reveals the earnest desire of Lembrary, as if the idol’s success is God’s will, drawing laughter.

As a result, expectations are raised to the fullest in the sacred and shameful entertainment industry adaptation story of Kim Min Kyu, who has become an idol and Go Bo Gyeol, who has become a manager.
