“Strangers Again” Can Be Watched On K-Plus Express From Korea This Month

Eagerly-awaited series Strangers Again will be simulcast on K-PLUS!

It is all set to premiere on January 19 every Thursday & Friday at 6.45 pm (GMT+8) within 24 hours of its Korean broadcast. Correspondingly, an encore is available every Sunday at 5.30 p.m.

Strangers Again tells the story of life and love between two talented lawyers who lived as strangers after their divorce.

It is a 12-episode legal romance drama starring Jang Seung Jo (Snowdrop, The Good Detective series, Encounter), Kang So-ra (Revolutionary Love, My Lawyer Mr. Joe, Doctor Stranger, Misaeng), Jo Eun-ji (Lost, Entertainer, Oh My Venus) and Mu Jin-Sung (Beautiful You, Scholar Who Walks the Night, A Witch’s Love).

Two divorce lawyers who get married after 10 years of dating winds up getting divorced themselves. Oh Ha-ra (Kang So-ra) is a star divorce lawyer. She has good looks and is known to be professional, but is easily enraged when it comes to things that concern her ex-husband, Gu Eun-beom (Jang Seung-jo).

Eun-beom is a well-liked lawyer who is gentle and humorous. When the two reunite as colleagues in the same law firm, Ha-ra experiences mixed feelings at Eun-beom’s nonchalant attitude. He wishes for her real happiness and supports her independence.

However, the surprising appearance of Eun-beom at work turns Ha-ra’s peaceful life into a roller coaster mixed feelings of rage and heart-fluttering excitement. Can they become perfect strangers?


Meet The Cast of Strangers Again

Kang So Ra (as Oh Ha-ra)

A star divorce lawyer who is known as the “goddess of litigation”. She is honest in the way she expresses her emotions.

Ha-ra harbours resentment towards her ex-husband. When her ex-husband Eun-beom suddenly walks back into her life, her once peaceful world is turned upside down.
Surprised that her ex-husband is trying to set up a blind date for her with another man, she shows explosive anger at him.

Jang Seung Jo (as Gu Eun-beom)

A witty and talented lawyer who has his ex-wife Oh Ha-ra on edge the moment he unexpectedly re-enters the picture by joining her as colleagues in the same law firm.

After getting an idea from a conversation with his boss, he started a “Get Oh Ha- ra Remarried” project out of the belief that Min Jae-gyeom is the best fit for Oh Ha-ra out of all his acquaintances.

Jo Eun Ji (as Kang Bi-chwi)

The best friend of Oh Ha-ra. a fierce woman who studied overseas in California. She is straightforward and hot-headed.

Unexpectedly connected with Eun-beom’s best friend Kwon Shi- wook who is her polar opposite. Unlike their outward attitudes, their backgrounds match each other’s ideal types, hence their feelings start to waver.

Mu Jin Sung (as Min Jae-gyeom)

Gu Eun-beom’s close friend, but also intriguingly has a fling with Oh Ha-ra.

He has everything from good looks, polite manners, and a prestigious background. Eun-beom tries to matchmake Jae-gyeom with Ha-ra believing he is the best match for her.


What To Expect In Strangers Again?

Anticipation is high for this series as Kang So-ra returns to the small screen for the first time since 2018. Not to forget viewers’ expectations of Jang Seung Jo who proved his acting
skills through recent highly-rated dramas.

Viewers can expect an entertaining storyline of how these two will manage their relationship after the divorce and what will happen to them working together again.

This will be a drama that showcases numerous relatable issues about the romance and careers of people in adulthood. As it is focusing on a divorced couple unlike an ordinary break up
love stories, the production and cast are able to show viewers a wide variety of emotions.

The drama is produced by KT Studio Genie, which gained noteworthy attention lately after working on the popular series, Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Gaus Electronics.

Strangers Again will premiere on K-PLUS starting 19 January 2023, Thursday at 6.45 pm (GMT+8). New episodes will air weekly every Thursday & Friday at 6.45 pm (GMT+8).
