“The First Responders” Decks Premiere Date In November

The First Responders

Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun and Gong Seung Yeon are all set to SBS new Friday-Saturday drama, The First Responders.

The First Responders chronicles the joint cooperation of police officers and firefighters in urgent situations involving crimes and fires. It depicts the most intense teamwork of first responders in critical situations.

Additionally, it heightens expectations since it is the first series in Korea to present a story in which police and fire departments cooperate to respond to violent events involving crime, disaster, and emergency.

Above all, the series attracts attention for its formidable cast and showrunners. Writer Min Ji Eun penned the lauded two seasons of Partners for Justice. Meanwhile, Director Shin Kyung Soo helmed Nokdu Flower, 3 Days and Tree With Deep Roots.

In the series, Kim Rae Won plays Jin Ho-gae, a passionate detective. Son Ho Jun portrays Bong Do-jin, a firefighter who appears cold on the outside, but is full of warmth on the inside.

Lastly, Gong Seung Yeon transforms into Song Seol, a diligent and kind paramedic who treats the wounds of detectives and firefighters.

Notably, The First Responders affirmed two seasons already even without the launch date yet. The first season premieres on November 12 while the 2nd season will be in 2023.

The production team invites viewers to anticipate an exciting series ahead.

“Please watch the resonant emotion and story of The First Responders which tells the story of unsung heroes who protect us.”

The First Responders premieres on November 12th at 10 PM on SBS.
