Kim Min Kyu and Go Bo Gyeol are set to draw heart-fluttering romance in The Heavenly Idol.

In The Heavenly Idol, Kim Min Kyu plays a powerful high priest who finds himself possessing the body of a K-pop idol.

It is based on a popular novel (Holy Idol LT) that has since been adapted into a webtoon owing to the love received from fans.

Suiting up to the titular role, Kim Min Kyu portrays Lembrary, after a battle with the demon king, he wakes up inside the body of a handsome idol named Woo Yeon-woo.

Meanwhile, Go Bo Gyeol, who plays the role of Kim Dal, a manager of Wild Animal and a fan of Woo Yeon-woo, raises the level of immersion by comically and cutely coping with the chaotic situation in which his favorite idol has become a different person.

For the drama adaptation, romance will be inserted to elevate the charming points of the original work. Inevitably, Kim’s acting transformation anticipates heart-fluttering moments for viewers.

Heightening the excitement for the premiere, The Heavenly Idol unveiled the captured first meeting scene between the lead pairing.

Woo Yeon-woo and Kim Dal had a fated encounter while Wild Animal was busking on a street to promote a new song.

First, Yeon-woo’s bright smile attracts attention. His deep dimples, kissable lips, and cute eye smile trigger spontaneous daydreaming moments for the viewers.

Kim Dal-eun can’t take her eyes off Yeon-woo, as if the bolts in her heart were unlocked at once. Her twinkling curious eyes bring smiles to those who foresee the moment of the birth of the first fan of ruined idol Ywon-woo.

Interestingly, Dal is wearing her black hoodie deeply and covering her face, thus evoking a cryptic character. Her back story raises interest as well as how her relationship with Yeon-woo will progress.
