A storm of betrayal, rage, and retribution is about to break loose. Disney+ is set to debut The Manipulated, a pulse-racing 12-part Korean action thriller starring Ji Chang Wook and Doh Kyung Soo, premiering November 5 with an action-packed four-episode drop.
Park Taejoong (Ji Chang Wook) is a man who has always believed in integrity, hard work, and compassion. Supported by his family and surrounded by loyal friends, he seems destined for a bright future. But everything comes crashing down when his kindness is turned against him. In a shocking twist of fate, Taejoong is accused of the brutal rape and murder of a woman he has never even met. Labeled a monster and sentenced to life behind bars, he loses everything he has ever loved in a single devastating blow.

What begins as despair soon gives way to fury. Inside prison, Taejoong meets An Yohan (Doh Kyung Soo), a fellow inmate with a hauntingly similar story. When Yohan reveals that a hidden network has been systematically framing innocent men for crimes they didn’t commit, Taejoong’s sorrow sharpens into purpose. Broken, hardened, and burning for revenge, he sets his sights on uncovering the truth and bringing the real criminals to justice—no matter the cost.
Helmed by master storytellers, The Manipulated combines the sharp pen of Oh Sangho (Taxi Driver, Fabricated City) with the gripping vision of directors Park Sinwoo (The Killing Vote) and Kim Changjoo (Hard Hit). The result is an unflinching look at justice, corruption, and the lengths a man will go to reclaim his life.
The series will premiere with four adrenaline-charged episodes on November 5, followed by two new episodes every week, culminating in an electrifying finale on December 3.
