JTBC releases sneak peeks for the upcoming drama The Interest of Love.
JTBC reveals the teaser video and poster for their new melodrama The Interest of Love directed by Jo Young Min starring Yoo Yeon Seok (Hospital Playlist, Dr. Romantic), Moon Ga Young (True Beauty, Find Me in Your Memory), Geum Sae Rok (Youth of May, The Fiery Priest), and Jung Ga Ram (Love Alarm). The drama is scheduled every Wednesday and Thursday.
The Interest of Love (사랑의 이해) is about people who meet and understand the meaning of true love despite their different interests. Yoo Yeon Seok (Ha Sang-soo), Moon Ga Young (Ahn Soo-young), Keum Sae Rok (Park Mi-kyung), and Jeong Ga Ram (Jeong Jong-hyeon) will encounter men and women with diverse perspectives that will eventually raise their expectations on love.

The teaser poster contains four IDs of employees who are secretly dating at KCU Bank. The sunset hits the ID cards representing their work has ended. The excitement is also evident as the characters share the same feeling in the same space. The different details of the cards are also noticeable. Jong Hyun’s ID card was the only one that lacks information.
Subsequently, the teaser video was unveiled. Sang-soo asked Soo-young “It was like that to me; would it have been different if we met that day?” Soo-young replied, “No, we wouldn’t have worked out in the end.” Deep inside, Sang-soo recalls all the happy memories they made together.
Ha Sang-soo gaze implies “Is this the answer Soo-young was trying to give?” Although they can’t get closer for several reasons, their hearts always stay on the day at the beach. The potential viewers wonder if the two will be able to overcome their dissimilarities.
In the midst of this, Mi-kyung confesses her feelings to Sang-soo. On the other hand, Jong-hyeon admits his feelings to Soo-young at the same time. Soo-young and Sang-soo’s eyes focus on each other nonetheless. Hardships are expected in the unrequited love of the two.
Anticipation runs high for the viewers about the choices that the characters’ unstable feelings will make amidst the ongoing chaos.
The melodrama The Interest of Love is expected to provide excitement as well as sympathy through the images of young men and women experiencing joys and sorrows with intense emotions rising even in the grim reality.
The Interest of Love will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
