Online video service Wavve announced it has cast Yoon Shi Yoon, Ahn Hee Yeon (Hani), and Park Ki Woong in the original drama You Raise Me Up.

You Raise Me Up is a sexy comedy-drama about a man in his 30s who reunites with his first love, Luda, who became his urologist. It sounds quirky, right?

Taking the role of Do Yong-sik, a 31-year-old civil servant test preparation student is Yoon Shi Yoon. After preparing for the civil service exam, only his belly fat hinders his goal. So, he was forced to receive urology treatment only to be frustrated by meeting his first love as his doctor.

The key point of watching this drama is whether he can build up his broken self-esteem. From thriller to historical dramas and entertainment programs, Yoon Shi Yoon has proven a wide range of acting skills.

Building My First Love’s Confidence Back

Ahn Hee Yeon has been expanding her activities as an actress as she builds her filmography. In You Raise Me Up, she portrays the role of urologist Lee Ru-da.

The only problem for her, who is a competent doctor with both beautiful appearance and family, is a boyfriend with excessive self-confidence. She takes pride in having a great “first love”, but when she meets him again as a patient, she begins a mission to help him build his self-esteem back.

Lastly, Park Ki Woong, who makes his drama comeback since Kkondae Intern takes the role of Lee Ruda’s problematic boyfriend Do Ji-hyuk. He is a psychologist who runs a counseling center in the same building as his girlfriend. With an impeccable job, family background, and arresting appeal, the problem is he knows it too well, and his tendency to flaunt it is always on fleek.

Studio S, who was in charge of the production of  You Raise Me Up said, “In a bouncing sexy story, we are planning to capture the sexy and youthful growth of young people who are proudly braving up as the main characters of their love and life stories. Please give us a lot of support.”

You Raise Me Up is scheduled to be released in the summer.
