With Haesong’s 80th-anniversary celebration soon approaching, writer Ha Woo-shin gets ready for his mission to steal the Adamas. Meanwhile, prosecutor Song Su-hyun luckily survives the bomb incident and starts investigating on Sun with reporter Seo-hee.

Adamas Episode 9 and 10 Highlights
“Are you insinuating that I killed my son?!”
Agitated, Ms. Kwon tells Chairman Kwon about Woo-shin’s intention in entering the mansion. She insists the writer enters their place because he wants to get information and investigate Min-jo’s death. He got infuriated as Ms. Kwon taught the chairman was the one who killed Min-jo. The strong relationship between the two started to crumble at last.
In the meantime, while Hyun-jo prepares for his inauguration speech, he remembers his past conversation with his brother, Min-jo. Hyun-jo once wanted Min-jo to turn a blind eye to Mr. Song Soon-ho’s death, but Min-jo wanted his father to repent and prove Lee Chang-woo’s innocence.
Concurrently, Ha Woo-shin finished the draft of Chairman Kwon’s memoir and suggested publishing it on the day of Haesong’s anniversary. He successfully then got an invitation to join the celebration.
“Ms. Jang is dead. The jewelry designer is dead.”
Outside the mansion, Song Su-hyun enters the building of ARES to see what will be the team’s next step. Su-hyun, together with Seo-hee, eventually follows Mr. Lee, who goes to see Ms. Jang get the Adamas.
As Ms. Jang finds something suspicious about the Adamas, Mr. Lee knows he has to do something to eliminate the hindrance they might encounter.
At the same time, Song Su-hyun bravely went into Ms. Jang’s house and saw Mr. Lee leaving with the Adamas. As he entered the room, he saw Ms. Jang dead. As he tried to retrieve the designer, he made a loud noise that alarmed Team A, who was patrolling outside the area.
Su-hyun sprints even though his body is still far from recovering. Su-hyun and Seo-hee ran for their lives, and suddenly a car appeared. They saw Hye-soo, and they were saved from getting killed.
“Where did you hide it? The real Adamas.”
Sun got the location of SIH’s safe house. Right off the bat, she killed SIH Ms. Lee and kidnapped reporter Kim Seo-hee to have SIH in their hands. Sun provoked Su-hyun, which made him go to the ARES building, but he was ambushed and encountered an explosion for the second time.
On the other hand, Mr. Lee visits Lee Chang-woo in prison. After getting rid of Ms. Jang, Mr. Lee realized the Adamas he got is fake. Mr. Lee threatened Lee Chang Woo because he knew the real Adamas is in his hands, but Chang-woo did not waver and keep his mouth shut.
“What? The satellite phone disappeared?”
At the Haesong mansion, Mr. Choi discovers the phone he uses to contact SIH disappeared. They thought Mr. Kim wanted to expose their plan, but it turns out that Security officer Park, who is also an undercover agent from SIH, was the one who took the missing phone.
Mr. Choi only knew then that Mr. Park was on his side. However, this does not leave the fact that Mr. Kim knew something about their undercover. That is why they thought of killing Mr. Kim, and Ha Woo-shin could not stop them from doing it.
“I know you met Lee Chang-woo.”
Mr. Lee went to see Mr. Kwon telling him updates about the Adamas. Chairman Kwon seems to lose his trust in Mr. Lee as he caught him lying to him about visiting Lee Chang-woo. The submissive team leader kneels on the grass and asks for the chairman’s forgiveness. He almost died because of not telling the truth.
Ending the scene, the celebration in the mansion is about to start, and Su-hyun unexpectedly got an invitation. On the same day, Sun made reporter Seo-hee enter the SIH wearing a vest with explosives. It looks like something disastrous and chaotic event is on the horizon.
Adamas Episode 9 and 10 Musings
Adamas really knows how to trick and confuse the audience with its non-stop revelations. Although it was frustrating that the recrafted Adamas is fake, it made the viewers curious and question where is the real one.
Episodes 9 and 10 have shown a lot of scenes that were unfavorable for SIH and the twins. They face the dangerous Team A of ARES and the mysterious Sun, who keep getting on their way to catch the real culprit and steal the Adamas.
They all try their best to survive and use their maximum capabilities to win and succeed in their missions.
Now that Haesong’s anniversary is happening, the viewers can expect more thrilling and heart-stopping scenes, especially since Su-hyun is going to the mansion.
