Bad and Crazy Episode 6 Key Moments
The Search for Woo Hyeok Jin
As K agrees to Su Yeol’s proposal to investigate further on Tak Min Su’s death, K remembers a call report to Su Yeol from before. He asks why Su Yeol did not take the call seriously before.
They track down a person related to Sim Sang Ho, and exchange clothes from a homeless drug addict. Men from the junkyard chase them as they notice Su Yeol looks like a cop, but he is able to bring Hyeok Jin to the clinic of the doctor he frequents.
Hyeok Jin reveals it was not him who called Su Yeol before. He escapes the clinic after waking up, and meets up with Chan Gi. However, he dies due to intoxication with drugs as Andrei sees him after meeting with Chan Gi.
Hui Gyeom’s Release from Prison
With the order of Captain Kim, the female inmate connections of Jeong Il Su attack Hui Gyeom inside prison. The news reaches Su Yeol, and he talks to Captain Kim, in which he confirms his suspicion that the Captain has involvement with Tak Min Su’s death after reacting that way.
Gyeong Tae and Jae Seon search for Heo Jong Gu’s car, and a thief steals Jae Seon’s wallet. Gyeong Tae chases the thief after he notices that the thief is wearing Hui Gyeom’s medal. They confirm where he found the medal, and with that, Hui Gyeom is released from prison.
Su Yeol welcomes Hui Gyeom after being released, and he asks why her bag is heavy. He sees letters from him, which are written by K. Hui Gyeom is in disbelief after hearing from Su Yeol that her teammates from the narcotics unit betrayed her, and protect drug dealers.
Confronting Captain Kim for Protecting Drug Dealers
Hui Gyeom meets with Captain Kim, and she confronts him about his involvement with everything bad that happened to her. She also opens up how he was behind Tak Min Su’s death.
After being led to catch Do Yu Gon, Hui Gyeom realizes that Captain Kim asked the assemblyman where the drugs were. When asked about why he chose to do those, the captain replies to her a question on why he has to catch all those criminals given their measly paycheck.
Ending their conversation, Hui Gyeom assures Captain Kim that the next time they meet, she will arrest him.
Jeong Chan Gi’s Crucial Evidence
Su Yeol becomes aware that Chan Gi did not kill Hyeok Jin, and also that he was the one who called from before. Chan Gi asks for assurance that Su Yeol can prove Sim Sang Ho’s innocence with the evidence he has.
Reminiscing Min Su who treated him kindly, Chan Gi asks Su Yeol to meet with him in Min Su’s cinerarium. However, Boss Yong calls Captain Kim, informing him about Su Yeol and Chan Gi’s plans.
Meanwhile, Hui Gyeom sees the connections of the drug dealers with Do Yu Gon, and the scholarship fund in Russia. Jeong Il Su’s men use a kid to lure Hui Gyeom out of her house, and attack her.
Back in the cinerarium, Captain Kim chases Chan Gi to surrender the evidence he has. Su Yeol arrives, but after his reaction to what happened to Hui Gyeom, Chan Gi is angered. Su Yeol runs to save Hui Gyeom, and all together with K, they kick the doors of the truck to escape.
Bad and Crazy Episode 6 Musings
K and Su Yeol paired up to look for Woo Hyeok Jin, and we can see their area of expertise. We could say that in combat arms, Su Yeol can rely on K, while in searching for evidence, Su Yeol thrives. They were so close to catching Captain Kim Gye Sik, who is a protector of drug dealers, but their plans were counterattacked.
Seeing how Captain Kim had involvement from the start in Tak Min Su’s death, the big picture of the drug dealing is realized. At first, we may have thought that only politicians and drug dealers are involved. After the recent revelations, charity funds and the police force are also possibly tainted.
Moreover, with the scene at the junkyard, another reality is portrayed in the drama. Drug dealing is indeed present in all levels of society, and the people who should be catching these people are also the people who resell the seized products.
With the wavering conscience of people under Captain Kim, there is hope in taking down the real criminals. Su Yeol’s words about making decisions that are not regrettable show his side that is slightly transforming from his initial mindset that values worldly materials.
Together with K, Hui Gyeom, and Su Yeol, the doors of the truck are opened. They shall escape from the men of Jeong Il Su, and with various clues and evidence, they can continue in digging up information about the drug dealers and Captain Kim’s crime.
