Meanwhile, Ye-Ji (the granddaughter of the shaman) realizes that she deeply loves Yong-Ryeol (Seul-hae’s co-officer). At first, she only dated him because she thought that Yong-Ryeol’s family is rich. However, she discovers that he belongs to a middle-class family.

She thought of breaking up with him but she knows that Yong-Ryeol is a perfect man for her. Cha-Woong, Seul-hae, Yong-Ryeol, and Ye-Ji go out on a double date.

At first, Seul-hae and Cha-Woong are cringing because the two are clingy to each other. Later on, they just enjoy the company of each other as great friends.

Ah-Reum’s Backstory

After Dong-Chul’s story in the last episode, Ah-Reum’s backstory is now highlighted in this episode. When Ah-Reum is alive, she’s a hardworking student who majors in technology. She wants to be of help to everyone using her skills.

However, Ah-Reum suffers from polio which limits her from freely walking around. She uses her wheelchair to go to school and sometimes there are a series of small incidents. Nevertheless, she’s thankful that there are a lot of people who help her.

One day, while reviewing, Ah-Reum fell asleep on her desk and smells smoke. When she woke up, she realize that there was a fire in the place where she stays.

Since she can’t walk, she’s having a hard time reaching for her crutches. She fell to the ground and Ah-Reum now, as a ghost, feels ashamed because she can’t even save herself.

The Incident in the Orphanage

On the other hand, Cha-Woong plans to do a donation drive in an orphanage. He also talks to Ah-Reum because they are planning to do a mini-presentation for the children.

Their concept is about Lulu, Ah-Reum’s favorite character and hero in a game. Ah-Reum wanted to feel that she can be a help to others regardless of her condition. However, the event didn’t come out smoothly because there was a fire happening in the building.

Hee-Soo (the evil spirit) gets revenge on Cha-Woong because he knew that Seul-hae is already his girlfriend. That’s why he initiated a fire to ruin Cha-Woong’s event. Ah-Reum on the other hand is terrified again of the fire.

Since she’s already a ghost, she hides inside a Lulu mascot. She then spots a little girl crying for help inside a room. Even though she’s scared, she went to the child and saves her. They both got out safely on the scene.
