Love In Contract

Love In Contract Episodes 13 and 14 Highlights

About to meet Madam Yoo, Ji-ho ended up saving her from almost being hit by a vehicle on the road. Baffled about why her boyfriend was supposed to meet her least favorite person, Sang-eun believes the excuse that Ji-ho wants to pay respect since they live in the same house.

“I’ll show you the true value of your girlfriend.”

Keen to use her considerable skills, Sang-eun asserts taking care of Ji-ho down to most minor details. He also ends up staying at Sang-eun’s apartment owing to reporters lurking at their place because Hae-jin already announced his breakup with Sang-eun.

While Madam Yoo guards Sang-eun against her boyfriend, Ji-ho proceeds to help furtively in Sang-eun’s situation. He also consults his staff’s opinion about the scenario and gets a sound response to ask the opinion of the victim.

Ji-eun who was supposed to visit Ji-ho when he was hospitalized also had a heart-to-heart talk with Hae-jin who finally mustered the strength to face the problem he keeps evading.

Hae-jin decides to officially retire from the entertainment industry. Subsequently, he moves to join Kangjin Group and faces his evil brother who keeps threatening him with his mom and Sang-eun.

“I hate her so much I want to curse her. But I don’t want to see anything bad happening to her. She is still the person who raised me.”

Assuming his director position at Kangjin Group, Hae-jin opts to be challenged and reasons he is well-equipped for the post which makes his father happy.

Ji-ho also gets the answer to Sang-eun’s thoughts about the abuse issue inflicted on young Sang-eun and can only console his woman for still choosing to forgive.

Unable to reach Hae-jin, Sang-eun visits him to ask why he’s returning to his family. He also declines her intention to help since she is not in a position to do it for him.

Meeting Ji-ho, Madam Yoo refuses his plea to apologize to Sang-eun. She explains not being worthy to be called Sang-eun’s mom and will stay like that as punishment for her wrongdoings.

Setting a date for Madam Yoo, Ji-ho messaged her to be at the place. She thankfully showed up and apologizes genuinely. Hearing Madam Yoo thank Ji-hoo for giving her the opportunity, Sang-eun accepts the apology. There’s even a celebratory event that Ji-ho prepared.

Truly immersing himself in his newfound social skills, Ji-ho meets Ji-eun and drinks together with her. Seeing Ji-ho living as carefree as he can be, she hopes to meet someone who can bring it out to her. Sincerely, Ji-ho wishes it came true as well.

Love In Contract Episodes 13 and 14 Musings

Coming from an unusual marriage arrangement, Sang-eun, Ji-ho and Hae-jin have grown into better versions of themselves by going through situations that somehow loop them all in.

As Sang-eun’s wish is shaping to come true with Ji-ho, her moments in this week’s episode of learning new essential skills that her multiple certifications did not teach was an adorable watch. And so is her flirtatious imagination as romance hits every love nerve in her body.

At this point when everything is falling right into places, we hope Madam Yoo’s decision of keeping their real relationship secret makes sense, but even Sang-eun subconsciously feels that distinct link they shared.

Likewise, Ji-ho has seen significant growth in his social skills thanks to Sang-eun’s insightful lessons. He even went the extra mile to help Madam Yoo at least apologize to Sang-eun even if she can’t brave the idea of confessing who she really is. Notably, his sound assessment skills acquired from his career also scored a goal with his heartfelt love confession that didn’t even say the words “I love you” in the waning seconds of episode 14.

Tackling the issue with his brother to protect his first love and mother, Hae-jin has to endure the grind; and we are all rooting for him. Correspondingly, the threat set by Ina Group that could endanger Sang-eun and Madam Yoo is another thing he voluntarily worries about.

The statement describing the situation of Madam Yoo as being protective and at the same time guilty pretty much explains her predicament. It really sounded sad the first time you hear it, but if you have an understanding heart and mind, you can empathize with her pain and intentions.

Down to the last two episodes, let’s look forward to happy endings and sensible closures for the characters of Love In Contract.
