My Perfect Stranger Episodes 3 and 4 Highlights

Trapped in 1987, Hae-jun and Yoon-young need to have the car fixed to return to the present time. However, when Yoon-young realized how her mother was being bullied and how she never paid attention to all those times her mother faintly clamored for emotional strength from her.

Pondering why Yoon-young has the same match in her possession, Hae-jun is left with no choice but to stay in 1987 since the vehicle he thought he fixed is still broken. When Detective Baek insists on dragging Yoon-young to the police station because she can’t present her ID. Hae-jun quickly makes an excuse that she attends the High School where he also teaches.

“Until we return to our time, we are on the same boat.”

Deciding to become a student at the school where Hae-jun teaches, Yoon-young goals to protect her mother. Hae-jun also makes a strict reminder that she should stay at home after school and not mess up with his plans in the neighborhood.

On her first day at school, Yoon-young meets her future dad Hee-sub who is also a transfer student. Before she enters the room, he also teaches her a trick to intimidate others which came handy when the bullies in Yoon-young’s class make a move to scare her.

Later, Yoon-young affirms her initial thoughts that Mi-sook had taken advantage of her mom. She discovers that her mom deserved the credit for refining the written piece in which Mi-sook was praised by Hae-jun.

“Who are you? Why the hell are you here?”

Being taunted by Mi-sook, Yoon-young follows her and disregards Hae-jun’s instruction to stay in the room and wait for him. Indifferent to her blab that blackmailing does not affect her.

Just then, Mi-sook’s brother Min-su arrives. Yoon-young agrees to ride in his car because of the heavy rains but she ends up being hit on the car dashboard and she wakes up in his house where he is ready to harrass her.

Fortunately, Hae-jun arrives. Armed with his knowledge of the possible culprit to be either Hee-sub, Bum-ryung, or Min-su; he rescues Yoon-young and demands to know who she really is and what her plans are in the year they are trapped in.

Still choosing not to reveal her reasons, Hae-jun did not push for it.

“I’ll give it to you now. The time you lost. Everything you gave up.”

On a school field trip, Hae-jun left a note to Yoon-young to go with Soon-ae. Knowing her mom, she really received a letter from her as she confessed to not being able to sleep for being rude.

Soon-ae also shares her dream of reading books and listening to music while sipping coffee which Yoon-young realized was accomplished by her.

When Hae-jun and Yoon-young return home at night, they agree to talk. However, a phone call made Hae-jun rush to the police station and Min-su’s house as Ms. Lee, the student teacher went missing.

Yoon-young who felt a familiarity with the situation remembers Mi-sook’s novel rough draft. It’s as if the words from the novel describe the situation happening.

Meeting Hae-jun outside, Yoon-young proposes they should come clean about their situations and what they know about the past and future.

My Perfect Stranger Episodes 3 and 4 Musings

The past is changing to what Hae-jun previously know about in the latest episodes of My Perfect Stranger.

Unfortunately, the preview next week also sees the murder he was trying to prevent still come true.

Thus, it will put pressure on his fear of what he saw his future would become.

Yoon-young’s interactions with her parents, when they were young, are helping her understand what she missed when she failed to communicate with them properly.

Just like how she overlooked the silent attempts of her mom to spend time with her sprung from her innate trauma from how she was treated at school in her youth.

In addition, her perception of her father has never been good but peeking at how he was in his youth makes her wonder what he has gone through to lead a different life thereafter.

Siblings Mi-sook and Min-su are pictured to have something to do with the spree killing which heightens interest as to how Hae-jun and Yoon-young would utilize their knowledge to bring the truth out to the open.

Is there really a connection between them that looped them into the year 1987?

Solve the puzzle pieces from the past with Hae-jun and Yoon-young in My Perfect Stranger.
