The Forbidden Marriage Episode 7 Highlights

Previously in The Forbidden Marriage, the villains heighten their trouble-causing schemes by increasing the number of women who kept vanishing in the capital.

Among those women, Sorang and Hayoung were also included.

“Isn’t this strange? These kidnapping organizations are rampantly hurting women. But the police bureau was unable to catch a single person?”

Finding the kidnappers’ lair, unfortunately, Sorang and Haeyong were reported to have been taken somewhere.

Chun-seok and Do-seok correctly discerned where Hayoung is. But the nobleman who bought her refuses to let go of her, thus they engage in a scuffle.

Fortunately, Lee Heon and Shin-won arrive just when Hayoung was on the brink of being harmed.

Meanwhile, Sorang was bought to Minister Jo’s hideout surprising her evil stepmom who thought she already died. When the palace guards caught Hayoung’s abductor, Lady Seo immediately ordered Sorang to be killed and planted in the dead crown princess’ chamber.

En route to kill Sorang, a band of bandits stops Minister Jo’s men and takes Sorang with them. The news reaches Lee Heon who did not hesitate to look for Sorang.

Waking up, Sorang discovers she is in Gongnyang Village and meets the village chief, Bal Ran-tan. The village has been saving bossam victims and gives an option to the women if they want to go back to their hometowns or stay in the village. Additionally, secret lovers have also found the village to be their haven to settle down.

The Forbidden Marriage

“You should stop blaming yourself. You saved kidnapped women because you think of them as me.”

Sensing her association with Lee Heon and Shin-won won’t sit well with Ran-tan; Sorang’s quick mind easily pitches how she is a trustworthy person since she reads love compatibility and is somewhat sharing the same mission fostered in the village.

However, Ran-tan demands verification of her trustworthiness so she sits with the village people to explain her knowledge about compatibility. At that same moment, Lee Heon and Shin-won together with some palace guards found the village.

Unable to withhold his desire to save his favorite palace lady, Lee Heon makes his presence known and Shin-won follows suit even when they are outnumbered.

The result of course is they end up being captives by the burly protectors of the village. But trust Sorang to escape any sticky predicament. Questioned by Ran-tan, she makes an alibi of how souls come and go inside her body. Thus, she did not lie at all. She even vaunted a “possessed performance”.

Thanks to her deduction skills, she put up a performance of being possessed by Ran-tan’s sister. Sorang’s impeccable reassurance to Ran-tan that he is the best brother his sister had convinces him that the new people who arrived in the village mean well.

“”I have to lift the marriage ban quickly so that they can start their families. For everyone to live in love and happiness. I also have to do the same.”

Back at the palace, Minister Jo discusses with Minister Kwon seizing the opportunity to kill Lee Heon so they can set up a puppet king. Feeling ascertained that Lee Heon won’t be back, Minister Jo convened his fellow officials declaring the need for a successor.

Just then, Lee Heon arrives. Earlier, he was almost assassinated if not for the strength of Gongnyang Village protector bandits. Confronting Minister Jo about the cases of abduction that were never reported, he ordered the change of authority to be handled by the State Tribunal.

Praised by Minister Kim, Lee Heon insists on not having special feelings for Sorang despite him charging determinedly to save her upon learning she was abducted.

Alone with Sorang, Lee Heon behaves exactly what he denied feeling. He pulls her into his embrace and kisses her gently.

The Forbidden Marriage Episode 7 Musings

Lee Heon acts based on his emotions in this latest episode of The Forbidden Marriage. Will it suffice Sorang who thinks he’s seeing her only as a substitute? Nonetheless, getting a score against Minister Lee at least assures what viewers hope to see him develop to in the story.

There’s no way Minister Kim would back down from Lee Heon’s taunting. Down to the remaining episodes, we can expect him to plot problems directed at the king. Knowing Sorang as his weakness, he would of course make use of it efficiently.

Relevantly, Lady Seo would be his accomplice in this goal. Now that Lee Heon has taken brave steps to seize his authority, let’s hope Sorang does the same and asserts her true identity as the true daughter of a noble family.
