The Red Sleeve Episode 9 Key Moments

“I wonder how it feels to love someone with all your heart.”

After rejecting Lee San’s feelings once again, Deok-im prepares for the trip to the royal tomb, as the prince will take his journey instead of the king.

While conversing with her friends about their ideal lives, Deok-im just wonders how it would feel to have someone to love with all her heart.

Following this, Lee San starts his trip to the royal tomb, which Deok-im will accompany as she is the prince’s personal maid.

Arriving at the temporary palace where they will be residing, the court immediately begins preparing and cleaning the place.

Given that the palace has been vacant for an extended period of time, Lady Seo advises Deok-im to lie down on the prince’s bed to check that it is sufficiently warm for the prince.

However, she did not notice she was falling asleep due to her exhaustion and the comfortable bedding.

“Are you saying even though I am aware of it, I should pretend that I did not see it?”

Receiving an appeal from the people, this took Lee San in a terrible mood upon learning late to an important matter. He belatedly knew that there are young girls who have been missing for 20 years.

Dismissing his loyal subjects to personally talk with Deok-ro, Lee San furiously opposes his advice on turning a blind eye to his people’s troubles as he still has no power to do it.

Deok-ro further requests the prince that he should wait until he takes the throne before doing an action.

Returning to his chambers, Lee San commands his servant outside that he won’t be needing to make his bed. But, he instantly stops as he sees Deok-im peacefully sleeping in his bed.

“No matter how fast we run, it takes more than two hours from here.”

When Deok-im awakens from her silently freaked-out nap, she learns that she had completely dozed off. She rushes out of the prince’s room and hears Lady Seo’s voice scolding the palace maids.

Interrupting Lady Seo, Wol Hye firmly orders Lady Seo to obtain the inadequate ingredients herself at the office.

Seeing how intimidating Wol Hye is to Lady Seo, Deok-im volunteers to go with her to the office.

As they almost reach their destination, Lady Seo and Deok-im take a break at a nearby lake. Wherein they discover one of the children playing with a gunpowder bag that belongs to the East Palace.

Observing the wet and useless gunpowder bags, both of them conclude that someone is exploiting treason against the Crown Prince.

In light of the fact that they would not arrive in time to inform the prince, Deok-im makes use of the flying kite that she observed the children playing with. She paints the signal kite and then flies it in the skies.
