Hometown Quick Plot Recap

Numerous crimes keep occurring within random households in a rural town with no probable suspects around.

During the investigation, detective Choi Hyung In (Yoo Jae Myung) meets Jo Jung Hyun (Han Ye Ri). She desperately seeks his help in locating her niece Jo Jae Young (Lee Re), who is also Jo Kyung Ho’s daughter who mysteriously disappeared.

As the consecutive killings continue to happen, Choi speculates that Jae Young’s sudden disappearance and the murders in Saju are all connected to the death of his wife, who died in a terrorist attack spearheaded by Jo Kyung Ho (Uhm Tae Goo) in 1987.

Unfolding the secrets about why the eerie mixtape keeps getting into the possessions of the people in Saju, begins with Jo Kyung Ho witnessing that Im In-gwan murdered Im Se Yoon, who is Hyung In’s wife.

The secret of the recording tape was unveiled in the latter part of the series. Apparently, everyone who watches the tape will be killed after killing the person they love the most.

Correspondingly, goosebumps lead the way as Choi Hyung In and his wife’s aborted child was never really aborted, and their child is Jae Young.
