Move To Heaven Peak Points

Poignant Realizations On What It Means To Live and Love

Put in a situation to live together, we saw Han Geu-ru and Cho Sang-gu work their differences and learn to embrace each other’s worth.

Bearing a pain in his heart from thinking he was abandoned by his brother, Sang-gu belatedly emancipated himself from the deeply carved resentment toward his brother. By doing so, he has also turned a new leaf and embraced a change-for-the-better outlook with his nephew.

Through the eyes of Geu-ru, we received plenty of advice on what we might have inadvertently missed in the relationships we built as we grow up. The parent-children relationship was particularly underscored in the series.

It actually made sense, because our life’s purpose begins and ends with our family. Whether blood-relation or forged with time and memories, the family we chose to belong to would become our life’s source of motivation and joy.

Sincere Nudge On Overlooked Societal Issues

Traversing topics that deal with life and death, the series delved into societal issues that some people have still unfair treatment or are unconcerned about.

We empathized with the helpless woman who died and almost did not get the justice she deserved because of gaps existent in the set laws. We felt disheartened over a doctor’s true love that has to let go because it does not conform to the conventional love most people perceive to be normal.

Lastly, it gave an enlightening spotlight on adoption. While its context is familiar to us, the saddening truth of how some local and overseas adoption processes can be cruel to the lives involved is something we can contribute about. Whether raising awareness or voluntary contributing, it is a rewarding act to be part of a driven purpose to create a family for those who need it.

Move To Heaven Series Musings

It’s coincidentally almost a hundred days since my father moved to heaven, and you can only imagine how relatable the story of Han Geu-ru is to me. The last episode put me on a bawling mess and I appreciate the journey of watching 10 chapters of real stories from the viewpoints of trauma cleaners.

Life and death are topics that draw different viewpoints depending on the age and experiences of a person. In this heartening series, the simple deliberation of how a person spent his days while living, matters to the people he left behind after death. It prompts us to live a life with the goal of sharing beautiful memories because life can be savagely fleeting.

Moreover, it assures us that it’s okay to value human connections that are truly genuine. Because out of all those interactions and relationships you will come across in life, only so little would be sincere.

Introducing trauma cleaners who not just tidy a deceased person’s space, but bring closure to his most special person, left a meaningful impression that hopefully, all people can grasp.

Utterly a gratifying drama experience, Move To Heaven has featured stories efficiently portrayed by its lead and supporting cast. Likewise, the special appearances left a lingering mark as well.
