“Road To Boston” Marks Chuseok Release Date In September

Revealed in the launch poster, Boston 1947 starring Ha Jung Woo and Im Si Wan will be released in September.

Just before the Lunar New Year holidays, Boston 1947 confirms its release date.

The film traverses the story of the passionate Korean national marathoners who participated in the first international marathon competition after the liberation in 1947.

Set in the backdrop of the Boston International Marathon in 1947. It was the first international marathon held since World War II. It has been held every year on the third Monday of April since 1897 proving its global significance and authority.

In particular, the film traces the journey and anecdotes of the players who participated in the competition for the first time after the liberation.

Accordingly, the teaser poster reveals three characters diligently training ahead of the marathon. Their vigor in aiming for a goal gives off a refreshing feel.

Boston 1947, a special sports true story that made the hearts of the Koreans beat is directed by Kang Je Gyu of Shiri and Taegukgi fame.
