Plus M Entertainment confirmed Kang Ha Neul, Yoo Hai Jin and Park Hae Jun as the lead cast of the film, Opposition.
Opposition is a story that revolves around an insider who shakes up the drug world by going back and forth between the Korean drug dealer and the investigative agency.
Kang Ha Neul (When The Camellia Blooms) challenges the role of Lee Kang-soo, an insider who secretly provides information to the drug world and to the national investigation agency.
Next, Yoo Hai Jin (Veteran), a well-known Korean representative actor, plays the role of Gu Gwan-hee, an ambitious prosecutor who started from the bottom.
Lastly, Park Hae Jun (The World of the Married) plays the character Oh Sang-jae, the tenacious drug investigation team leader who never misses a criminal once caught.
Opposition is backed up by Hive Mediacorp Co. which has shown bold films that combine fun and artistic quality such as The Man Standing Next, Inside Men and Deliver Us From Evil.
In addition, director Hwang Byeong-guk, who directed S.I.U. and Wedding Campaign will steer the production.
Notably, veteran staff will join the creative team, led by cinematographer Lee Mo-gae of Hunt, Emergency Declaration and Battleship Island.
Opposition is scheduled to begin filming in the second half of 2023.
