“Soulmate” Seals Premiere Date In March

Along with the release date, a teaser poster and trailer were unfurled for Soulmate!

Soulmate is a remake of the 2016 Chinese film of the same name. It tells the story of two friends who shared fond memories together.

The film stars Kim Da Mi, Jeon So Nee and Byun Woo Seok.

A wistful note on the poster says: “Do you think of me sometimes?” foreshadowing the idea of a “soulmate”. It will make some people think of their soulmates, while others will want to find a soulmate they want to be with in the future.

Meanwhile, the teaser trailer makes viewers smile by showcasing the refreshing and vibrant time of Mi-so, Ha-eun and Jin-woo. The scenes of them sharing all their memories together, such as riding a motorcycle, munching junk food, and eating cup noodles by the beach, radiate cute and bright energy, while raising expectations by summoning fond youth memories.

Accordingly, the nostalgic setting captures the feel of the Y2K era by panning to the arcade scenes and showing early-2000 gadgets like mp3 player and flip-top phone.
Here, the messages “We shine the most at 17 years old, and I miss you at 27 years old” draw curiosity about the stories shared by Mi-so, Ha-eun and Jin-woo.

Expected to captivate the viewers for its nostalgic vibe, Soulmate promises to evoke cherished memories shared with others. The film premieres on March 15.
