Announced recently at Netflix event See What’s Next: Korea 2021, Moral Sense has sealed its main leads.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Moral Sense chronicles a unique romance between a man with unusual taste in sex and a woman who inadvertently learns about them.
It features the main character under the humorous and suspenseful premise of hiding his unusual sexual inclinations from his colleagues. Veteran romance director Park Hyun-jin will lead the production with her keen insight and experience in the genre.
Her films include Like for Likes, which weaves romance into the trend of sharing one’s daily life on social media, and Lovers of Six Years, a realistic portrayal of a longtime couple.
She is expected to unleash her full command of genre-specific knowledge in an unfolding thrilling romantic development between a man with a secret he doesn’t want to reveal to anyone and a woman who discovers it.
Moral Sense Lead Pairing
Seohyun, who recently starred in Private Lives as a con woman, marks her first leading role in a film with Moral Sense. She plays the role of a woman who embarks on an unusual relationship after discovering her co-worker’s secret sexual penchant.
Streaking a few notable roles in the recent years, the singer-actress has shown impressive growth in her drama female leads including Bad Thief Good Thief, Time and Hello Dracula.
Meanwhile, playing the role of Jung Ji-hoo, a man with a peculiar taste is Lee Jun Young. He is expected to charm the audience with his latest role and the chemistry he will create with Seohyun.
The singer-actor has been scoring dramas credit to his sound portrayals. His most recent works include Avengers Social Club, Class of Lies, and Good Casting. He is also scheduled to appear in Imitation and D.P.
Moral Sense is set to exclusively screen on Netflix.
