Swiss luxury watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre Grand Maison teams up with South Korean model and actor Kim Woo Bin.
For Kim Woo Bin, the actor is excited about partnering with the brand. In a recent interview, he said, “I am very happy to work with Jaeger-Lecoultre which has a 188-year long history and excellent watchmaking technology. I am looking forward to my journey with Jaeger-LeCoultre in the future.”
In addition, the brand added that on their first day of partnership with the actor, “Kim Woo Bin begins his activities as a brand ambassador of Jaeger-LeCoultre Grand Maison, starting with the Sound Maker exhibition, which is the first in Korea this summer.”
Before teaming up with Kim Woo Bin, the brand chose the internationally renowned actor Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange, Sherlock) to be their first brand ambassador. Both of these actors embody the quality of these timepieces; elegant and luxurious.

Jaeger-LeCoultre, founded by Antoine LeCoultre, has been manufacturing high-quality watches since 1833.
The Sound Maker exhibition celebrates their culture and history through “sound sculpture.” This tribute to the natural sound of Vallée de Joux started in the year 2020 in Chengdu, China.
Early watchmakers in their country spent most of their time indoors. Due to the icy winter outside, they created and developed complicated chiming watches.
The inspiration of the brand of creating luxurious timepieces is from the natural sound where: “the sighing of the wind in the trees, the song of birds, the rushing of mountain streams – and in winter, the sound of silence as a deep blanket of snow settles over the landscape.”
The Sound Maker exhibition invites guests on their tribute to the natural sound of Swiss Vallée de Joux. The exhibition will be held from June 6 to July 14 in Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
