The upcoming web drama from Dingo Music is packed with handsome boys, and we honestly cannot wait!
Dingo Music just announced the cast for its upcoming web drama The Guys I Want to Catch (working title). The lineup includes Son Dongwoon from Highlight, Wooseok from PENTAGON, Sejun from VICTON, and Neil from TEEN TOP! Yes — the series does not have only one, but four lovely boys on one screen!
The Guys I Want to Catch follows the story of four police trainees in Noryangjin who failed their police exams and became the icon of failure. As they came across different criminals, the four will undergo the process of growth.
With the support for the production of U+ Idol Live, the drama will be filmed this month with the goal of being released in August.
Highlight’s Son Dongwoon, PENTAGON’s Wooseok, VICTON’s Sejun, and Teen Top’s Niel, will transform as the famous F4 of Noryangjin. To bring a sense of reality and entertainment in the drama, they will act using their real names.
First of all, Son Dongwoon plays a character who dreams to be a police officer. His heart beats quickly when he hears the siren of a police car. However, in reality, he repeatedly fails the police exam due to irritable bowel syndrome.
Niel was born and raised in a wealthy family, lived without a dream, and entered Noryangjin to become a police officer because he thinks that it would be better than being unemployed. Although naturally smart, he is still always anxious that he will actually pass the exam.
Wooseok is a romanticist character who decided to become a police officer after his first lover Minjung said that her ideal type is men in police uniforms. Lastly, Sejun will portray a character from a poor family who is the eldest son of four siblings.
Fan-participating event
Ahead of its official launch, Dingo Music will be holding a poster-making contest for fans, which will be used as the drama’s promotional posters. The event will run from July 8-14 through Dingo’s various social media channels.
To join, tweet a message of support to your favorite cast members on the promotional banner designed by yourself, including fan art, and post it on the SNS channels with the hashtag #딩고_천하제일짤방대회 (#Dingo_BestPhotoContest).
The winner will be given a lucky box as a prize, and the winning work will be used for promotional posters.
