A24’s upcoming film Past Lives brings Yoo Teo, Greta Lee, John Magaro, and more to work together for the movie
The producer of Minari and Moonlight, A24, unfolds another film, Past Lives. Furthermore, A24 and CJ Entertainment join hands to co-finance and produce the movie.
Directed by Celine Song, the audience expects a foreign touch and new flavor for the upcoming Korean film. The director is also known for creating play such as Tom and Aliza, a semifinalist for the American Playwriting Foundation’s 2016 Relentless Award.
In addition, her work in Endings reached American Repertory Theater in 2019. And last 2020, it premiered at New York Theatre Workshop.
Past Lives tells the story of two childhood sweethearts who met in Korea. Years after, the two found their way to each other despite living their parallel lives.

Yoo Teo is known for his supporting roles as a foreign character. Once again, the actor plays the lead character after he stared on films such as Vertigo, The Moment, Seoul Searching, and more.
Furthermore, Yoo Teo made himself known as a supporting character in Vagabond, Arthadal Chronicles, The School Nurse Files, and more.

John Magaro also confirms to be part of Past Lives. The actor stared on popular films and series such as Orange Is The New Black, The Umbrella Academy, The Finest Hours.
Producer and assistant director, Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler, also confirm to collaborate to create the film.
