Honey Lee answers six interesting questions regarding her upcoming drama One The Woman.
One The Woman will air this September 17. And will have a Friday and Saturday evening time slot, that has been previously occupied by The Penthouse 3.
The drama tells the story of Cho Yeon-joo (Honey Lee), a corrupt female prosecutor who loses her memories after a cryptic car accident.
Yeon-joo was chasing a suspect that looks very similar to her and caught up with the said accident. When she woke up in a coma, her life turned 180 degrees as she becomes a daughter of a rich household.
In a recent interview, Honey Lee answers questions giving her insights about her latest project.
After your last drama The Fiery Priest. What made you take this opportunity to return with this drama?
“It is only a comeback of 2 years and 6 months. It’s been a long time since I tried to meet the viewers and I’m very excited and nervous. One The Woman script was so fun. The actors and staff who are breathing are all solid and good people. so we are grateful for the shooting.”
What is a point of attention to the actions that will be presented in One The Woman?
“There will be a lot of really colorful acting in One the Woman. The basic engaging element is a comedy. Because it is a dual role, it seems to be a fun point to watch. I hope you look forward to my performance.”
Is there any difficult or interesting point in portraying two roles?
“Dual roles is a challenge for the first-timers. The first difficult thing is that if you don’t catch the difference between the two characters. That’s why I’m working hard to make the character’s face detailed, meticulous, and distinct.The interesting thing is that even though I am a single person and there are many aspects to explore.”
Between the two characters, Yeon-joo, the lawyer, and Kang Mi-na, the rich daughter, which character do you like the most?
“90% of the people in One the Woman are playing supporting roles, thus, there are many parts that are thrilling and fascinating. The similarity between them is they both try to get through the fate of their lives without just accepting them.”
What bond do you have with your co-actors Lee Sang Yoon, Jin Seo-yeon, and Lee Won Geun?
“The chemistry with the actors and the atmosphere on set are really good. I am a fan of my fellow actors and I really wanted to act with them. Also, everyone is serious about acting, so I am grateful to be able to act with such people. Our seniors’ lineup is also really solid, so I think it will be very interesting for the viewers to see.”
Finally, a message for every viewer, who is waiting for this drama?
“I hope that One the Woman will be a ‘wonder’ work for the viewers. For those who want to watch a drama that is refreshing and enjoyable, I hope that One the Woman will serve the purpose. A lot of staff and actors are working hard to bring pleasure to the viewers, so I hope you will wait a little longer. I will also work hard to shoot. Thank you.”
