Our Beloved Summer Episode 3 Key Moments
The Documentary
When Choi-Woong and Yeon-Soo met again after their break-up they can’t help but reminisce about their past. Meanwhile, Ji-Woong wanted to film them together for a documentary.
Ji-Woong talks to Choi-Woong about his plan but the latter doesn’t want to do the documentary again with his ex-flame. Choi-Woong still hates Yeon-Soo and doesn’t want to be associated with her again.
However, Choi-Woong still watches the documentary they filmed years ago, and it still made him smile. It looks like he wants her to beg him to accept her business proposal, but knowing Yeon-soo, it didn’t happen.
On the other hand, Ji-Woong also talks to Yeon-Soo about the film but she shares the same thoughts as her ex-boyfriend. Ji-Woong badly wants the two to be reunited again but it seems that he should work harder to persuade the two.
Choi-Woong Wants to See Yeon-Soo Irritated
Ever since they become lovers, Choi-Woong and Yeon-Soo have had a love and hate relationship. He keeps having flashbacks about the time when she broke up with him.
He still hates her and he was keen to see her get irritated by doing the things that she hates. When Yeon-Soo got to her office, her co-workers are all happy because she got Ko-O (a.ka. Choi-Woong) to collaborate with their company.
Yeon-Soo got confused because she’s working to partner with another artist. With questions on her head, she went to Choi-Woong’s house and talks to him.
Choi-Woong seems to be in a good mood and he expects that she would go talk to him. When he opened the door, she asks him why he accepted the offer.
However, he didn’t answer her question and bluntly said that he wants to do the documentary with her. Choi-Woong knows that doing the documentary with him would make Yeon-Soo furious, just like he plans.
10 Things Why Choi-Woong Hates Yeon-Soo
In the latest episode, Choi-Woong discusses the things why he hates Yeon-Soo. He started with his reason that she was selfish and self-centered.
There was a time when some of their classmates asks Yeon-Soo if they can have a look. However, she tears down her notes and asks her classmates to stay away.
There was also a time when he wanted to go see the cherry blossoms and eat together but she declined his offer because she needs to do her assignments. By nature plucky, she also likes picking fights with other people.
Amidst all these, the final reason of Choi-Woong why he hates Yeon-Soo is that she easily threw him away and forgot him easily. However, he still remembers the times when Yeon-Soo shows her other side to him and makes him fall in love deeper.
Ending the episode, there was a flashback when Yeon-Soo’s friend is worried because she didn’t even cry when she broke up with Choi-Woong. But it turns out, when Yeon-Soo came home one day, she went to the bathroom, locks the door, and cry so hard; releasing the repressed feelings that she have after their break-up.
Our Beloved Summer Episode 3 Musings
I must say that this episode gave me different emotions at once. It’s funny in a way that Choi-Woong keeps seeing Yeon-Soo around, and they argue a lot.
However, it also made my heart flutter when the series of flashbacks of when they used to be together come to life. Even though Choi-Woong has his reasons why he hates Yeon-Soo, he still appreciates the time when Yeon-Soo stood up for him to the boys at their school that keeps making fun of Choi-Woong.
I admire Choi-Woong because he accepted Yeon-Soo for who she is and chooses to love her no matter what. Yeon-Soo being raw to him and showing her rough edges makes him love her even more.
Even though they have many differences, maybe at some point they have accepted each other’s principles and personalities. However, we didn’t know the reason of Yeon-Soo why she broke up with Choi-Woong and it makes us more excited to see her hidden reasons.
All in all, the chemistry of Kim Da-Mi and Choi Woo Shik just gets better and better each episode and we hope that the next chapters would make us adore Our Beloved Summer more!
