Teaser photos of Yoo Yeon Seok for his forthcoming global project show the actor seriously brooding as a detective.
배니싱: 미제사건 The Vanishing: Unsolved Case is a French-Korean film starring Yoo Yeon Seok and Olga Kurylenko.
The movie threads on a shocking case and the subsequent joint investigation between a detective named Jin-ho (Yoo Yeon Seok) and an international forensic scientist Alice (Olga Kurylenko), who find an unknown body that has overturned the Republic of Korea.
Impressively making his acting portfolio robust, Yoo has been proving his wide acting range in various changes. In The Vanishing, he challenges a new charismatic character. Detective Jin-ho pursues a huge criminal organization. In the unveiled teaser photos, the actor is seen immersed on the case he’s working.
The Vanishing is a collaboration of domestic and foreign production crews. It will feature three languages in the story as well.
Director Denis Dercourt reveals being impressed on Yoo Yeon Seok’s acting. Thus, he chose him for the project. This further asserts the new side of the actor that viewers can look forward to in the movie.
The 2022 global project The Vanishing: Unsolved Case starring Yoo Yeon Seok is scheduled to be released in March.
