Tweak your journey to learning the Korean language by using a new Korean language textbook inspired by BLACKPINK!
HYBE EDU announced its plans to launch BLACKPINK IN YOUR KOREAN, a Korean language learning textbook based on the IP of BLACKPINK today. Pre-orders will begin on March 7.
BLACKPINK IN YOUR KOREAN is a 12-chapter story following the adventures of a BLACKPINK FAN “Blinky,” who spends the day with the BLACKPINK members after being invited to their home.
From greetings and introductions to cooking and taking pictures together, readers can learn native expressions and vocabulary in various scenarios through conversations between Blinky and the animated BLACKPINK members, enhancing the overall learning experience while creating precious memories with their favorite artist.
BLACKPINK IN YOUR KOREAN PACKAGE
The package contains two textbooks, a pocketbook, a role-play kit, and Hangeul (Korean) keyboard stickers.
Textbooks are divided into two books (morning and afternoon situations), the compact pocketbook can be carried around to review expressions throughout the day, and the role-play kit allows learners to practice Korean through scenarios and exchanges between Blinky and the BLACKPINK members.
HYBE EDU plans to further maximize the learning effect by providing various types of video content (e.g. animation, shadow (read along), quizzes) for each chapter. Users will be able to unlock mobile content by accessing QR codes in textbooks and pocketbooks.
Additional language support for Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Indonesian will also be provided. Upon selecting the desired language, learners can use HYBE EDU’s MotiPen, a sound pen that reads out standard pronunciations in Korean, to hear the correct pronunciations via a professional voice actor.
To commemorate the release of BLACKPINK’s textbooks, HYBE EDU will also be launching the MotiPen in pink, a color representative of the quintet.
Two versions of ‘BLACKPINK IN YOUR KOREAN’ will be released: global (English version) and Chinese. The global edition will be available on Weverse Shop and KTOWN4U, while the Chinese edition will be available on KTOWN4U. The MotiPen is available for purchase on Weverse Shop and KTOWN4U.
