Nearing its premiere date this June 15, KBS2 TV’s fantasy and romance drama, Jinxed At First, shares what the audiences should anticipate.
On the other hand, Director Yoon Sang Ho, Na In Woo, and Seohyun happily express their experiences in this ‘well-made drama.’

Jinxed At First tells the story of the “goddess of luck,” Lee Seul Bi (Seo Hyun), who jumps out from her world to solve her curse. She met a passionate and charming seafood vendor, Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo), with a very unlucky fate.
Upon reading the original webtoon, Director Yoon Sang Ho became interested in the characters, which ” is the most important factor” in choosing the drama as his next project.
He then commended Na In Woo and Seohyun’s performance, stating,
“Seo Hyun performed her personality and passionate performance as the Korean version of ‘Rapunzel.’ [As for Na In Woo,] we worked together for the second time since the River Where The Moon Rises and we showed a great synergy. Both actors have not only qualifications but also personality. I think it’s a role model for young people of this age.”
Lastly, Director Yoon left a warm message and invitation to the viewers.
“Jinxed At First is a Happy Virus drama. It shows the world in which people live with the purest perception. You can feel the truth that only humans can live by loving each other.”
Meet the Jinxed Couple
Transforming into an all-around character Na In Woo describes Gong Soo-kwang and how it resonates with him.
“Soo-kwang is a person who lives in bad luck, but I think he has an eight-color-like charm that contains a variety of emotions whenever he changes through hardships. No matter how hard it is, the appearance of trying to carry anything alone and the appearance of not expressing emotions resemble me.”
Furthermore, In Woo’s character has two names — Gong Soo Kwang and Ko Myung Sung — due to an accident. The story behind his name will unveil soon on the small screen.
In portraying a character with an unlucky fate, Na’s positively revives the original character despite how heavy Soo Kwang’s story is.
“I wanted to show my strong transformation through the days when I didn’t have the courage, using my weak self as a growing pain, and the sorrow that broke my guilt and fear and made me find the real ‘me’.”
On the other hand, Seohyun reveals how she is grateful to become one with Lee Seul Bi. The actress also describes her character as a courageous person for accepting her fate.
The actress also shares how similar she is to Seul Bi.
“Every time I work on a piece, I try to maximize my inner appearance, which is most similar to the character’s tendency. Seul Bi and I share a similar view of the world as a positive person, as well as a curious and challenging person.”
