A powerhouse lead pairing is sealed for the upcoming Netflix series, 이두나 Lee Doona! (LT).
Marking her drama comeback since her lauded performance in the series Anna, Bae Suzy will draw a romantic story with Yang Se Jong. Notably, this will be Yang’s post-military service drama.
Billed as a romance-cohabitation drama, the series promises to set the viewers’ hearts fluttering. It is also based on a webtoon of the same name by Min Song-ah. Anticipate the delicate emotional depiction of a dream-like campus romance featuring an idol-turned-housemate.
In the series, Lee Won-jun (Yang Se Jong) meets Lee Doona (Bae Suzy), who retired after leaving behind the glamorous K-pop idol world, at a shared house.
Doona is the main vocalist of a popular idol group and the center of popularity. But she announces her sudden retirement and stays in a share house. Interestingly, Suzy’s idol roots would surely reflect in her newest drama character.
Won-jun is a college student who is extremely ordinary and has nothing, but a warm and pure heart. Yang Se Jong is expected to exude his unique charm once again through the role of Won-jun, who becomes a source of warmth and haven for Doona.
Lee Doona! is directed by Lee Jung Hyo who previously worked on Crash Landing On You, Romance Is A Bonus Book, and Life On Mars to name a few
