Philippine K-Movie fans are in for a treat as the lauded South Korean film Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman is coming to cinemas nationwide!
Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman starring an ensemble of A-list cast members namely, Gang Dong-won, Heo Joon-ho, Esom, Lee Dong-hwi and Kim Jong-soo will be released exclusively at SM Cinemas in The Philippines on 11 October!
The film revolves around the extraordinary journey of Dr. Cheon, a fake exorcist who does not believe in ghosts – played by top-notch Korean actor Kang Dong Won. Using his penetrating insight into people’s minds, he performs fake exorcisms and resolves cases brought to him.
However, Yoo-kyung (played by Esom), a client who can see ghosts, approaches him with an offer too tempting to refuse.
With his assistant In-bae (played by Lee Dong Hwi), Dr. Cheon heads to Yoo-kyung’s house, and gets involved in a series of strange phenomena. As they delve into the mysteries there, they uncover the secrets of a talisman known as ‘Seolkyung’.
Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman was the No. 1 opening film in Korea when it premiered on 27 September and did itself proud by accumulating more than 1 million admissions after its opening weekend from 27th Sep to 31st Sep (5 days).
With its visually stunning visuals, compelling storyline, and talented cast, this film is poised to capture the hearts and imaginations of audiences.
