A character relationship guide was released by the production team of Branding In Seongsu-dong to acquaint viewers more about the series.
This relationship chart provides a glimpse into the relationships between various characters.
Billed as a relationship reversal romance thriller, Branding in Seongsu-dong depicts what happens when the souls of the prickly marketing team leader Kang Na-eon and the adorable intern So Eun-ho change.
The relationship diagram shows the characters that make up Seongsu Agency, centering around the male and female protagonists Kang Na-eon played by Kim Ji Eun and So Eun-ho played by Lomon.
Kang Na-eon is the youngest marketing team leader at Seongsu Agency. She has outstanding ability, but thanks to her drive to sell her soul for success, she succeeds in every project she tackles. However, she has a tough and sharp personality, so she has many enemies around her. With so many people trying to swindle Na-eon, she finds herself in trouble when her soul is swapped with So Eun-ho, an intern whom she despises.
Lomon characterizes the role of So Eun-ho, as an ‘MZ intern’ who must say what he has to say. He fell in love with Kang Na-eon, who came to the campus to give a special lecture and respected her enough to join Seongsu Agency as an intern.
However, Eun-ho, who tries to maintain his belief in sincere marketing, clashes with Na-eon, his mighty senior, at every turn. After Eun-ho and Na-eon’s souls are changed by an unexpected kiss, Eun-ho lives in the same house as Na-eon and suddenly becomes the ‘youngest team leader.’
Do Yu-mi played by Yang Hye Ji and Cha Jung-woo (Kim Ho Young) are entangled in a square love line with Na-eon and So Eun-ho. Yumi was always kind to Na-eon as she was Na-eon’s motivation for joining the company, but she was growing hurt by Na-eon’s words of ignoring her. Moreover, Cha Jung-woo, whom she has been in love with for a long time, is only looking at Na-eon, so she will eventually cause pain to Na-eon.
On the other hand, Cha Jung-woo, who was Na-eon’s fellow employee at the company, has been in love with Na-eon unrequitedly for eight years. Jung-woo, who maintained his position by simply hovering around Na-eon, experiences an explosion of obsession and jealousy due to the sudden appearance of So Eun-ho. Attention is focused on what kind of trouble Do Yu-mi and Cha Jung-woo will cause amid friendship and love.
Meanwhile, the identity of Seongsu Agency’s last-place team, ‘Underdog’, framed by Kang Na-eon, was also revealed. The main characters are Lee Young-ae (Jeong Yi Rang), a mother of multiple children and marketer of the underdog team, Ju Rex (Jeon Jun Ho), a sexual minority and designer of the underdog team, and Jenny Park (Chae Soo Ah), the maknae who joined as a special recruit after graduating from high school. It stimulates curiosity as to how the underdog team, made up of only people who were demoted from Seongsu Agency, ended up getting involved with industry legend Kang Na-eon.
In addition, Min Hee-jung (Ahn Yeon Hong), the CEO of Seongsu Agency and Na-eon’s mentor, Team Leader Nam (Kim Byeol), who is the team leader of Seongsu Agency’s marketing team 2 and keeps Na-eon in check, and Han Yi-jae (Park Ki Deok), an executive of Segye Group, the parent company of Seongsu Agency are also revealed.
The office romance thriller drama Branding In Seongsu-dong, which depicts what happens when the souls of a ‘workaholic team leader’ and an ‘MZ intern’ who could never get along with each other are switched with a single kiss, will air on U+ Mobile TV at midnight on February 5th.
