A couple poster and a character relationship chart containing the narrative of Lovely Runner hype excitement for the new tvN time-slip series!
Lovely Runner is based on web novel “Tomorrow’s Best”. It is a time-slip romance series about a passionate fan who despaired over the death of a famous artist.
Scheduled to be broadcast for the first time on April 8, this new tvN series asks the question, “What if you get a chance to save your favorite artist?” Lovely Runner is a time-slip redemption romance that threads on how a passionate fan who was devastated by her favorite artist’ death goes back in time to 2008 to save him.
Byeon Woo Seok plays the role of Ryu Seon-jae, a top star in Korea who is perfect in everything and Kim Hye Yoon plays the role of Im Sol, a passionate fan who time-slipped to the age of 19 to change the fate of his favorite Ryu Seon-jae.
The teaser poster featuring Sol and Seon-jae alludes to how two people from the past were able to develop into ‘lovers’.
Meanwhile, in the revealed character relationship chart, Sol’s favorite person in the past was not Seon-jae, but the band’s bassist Kim Tae-seong (Song Geon Hee). Tae-seong and Seon-jae are presumed to have been entangled in an ill-fated relationship with each other, raising questions about what happened and how Im Sol is related to it.
Seon-jae and Jagam High School band leader Baek In-hyuk (Lee Seung Hyeop) are introduced as ‘best friends’ who have maintained a close family-like relationship since their high school days.
Attention is also focused on the special narrative of the two Eclipse members, with Baek In-hyuk currently the leader of Eclipse. Accordingly, the school days of the band members including Tae-song are expected to be a point of interest in the story.
Other cast members including Sol and Seon-jae’s family members are also introduced in the chart as well as Sol’s best friend Lee Hyeon-joo (Seo Hye Won).
Lovely Runner premieres on April 8 on tvN!
