Bringing heart and humor to family drama, Love Me has officially announced its star-studded cast, promising a heartwarming and relatable story about family, love, and the chaotic beauty of human connection.

With a dream team of talent both behind and in front of the camera, Love Me is set to capture the complexities of modern relationships with empathy and humor. The cast boasts an impressive lineup, including Seo Hyun Jin, Yoo Jae Myung, Lee Si Woo, Yoon Se Ah, Jang Ryul, and Twice’s Dahyun. This ensemble promises to bring depth and nuance to their respective roles, creating a compelling tapestry of interconnected lives.
Meet the Cast of “Love Me”
Seo Hyun Jin takes on the role of Seo Jun-kyung, a successful obstetrician/gynecologist who appears to have it all together. However, beneath the surface of this independent woman lies a deep loneliness stemming from a family tragedy seven years prior. Jun-kyung has built a solitary life to protect herself, but finds unexpected comfort in the “man next door” who sees her vulnerability. Fans can rejoice as Seo Hyun-jin returns to the melodrama genre, ready to deliver a powerful performance that captures the bittersweet contradictions of the human heart.
Yoo Jae Myung plays Jun-kyung’s father, Seo Jin-ho, a local office head known for his ever-present smile, often masking awkwardness or difficult situations. When voluntary retirement leads to unforeseen challenges, even his smile fades. But just when he least expects it, love enters his life, and Jin-ho discovers a strength he never knew he possessed. Known for his powerful presence in genre dramas, Yoo Jae-myung takes on a full-fledged melodrama role, adding another layer of intrigue to Love Me.
Lee Si Woo portrays Jun-kyung’s younger brother, Seo Jun-seo, a romantic at heart who struggles with commitment. He relies on his older sister for support while pursuing his studies, but his focus remains on his relationship, even though he feels a nagging loneliness even when coupled up. Lee Si Woo, a rising star known for his captivating charm, embodies the anxieties and uncertainties of youth in his 20s.
Yoon Se Ah brings her vibrant energy to the role of Jin Ja-young, a sociable and enthusiastic tour guide. Always on the go, Ja-young exudes a cheerful charm that masks her own desire for genuine connection. She finds herself drawn to the quiet and seemingly unenthusiastic Jin-ho. The reunion of Yoo Jae Myung and Yoon Se Ah, whose “poison romance” in Stranger captivated audiences, is highly anticipated. Their portrayal of a middle-aged melodrama promises to be both touching and compelling.
Jang Ryul plays Joo Do-hyun, a talented and free-spirited music director. With his effortlessly cool style and artistic aura, Do-hyun notices Jun-kyung’s loneliness and finds his own life subtly changing after their chance encounter. Jang Ryul, known for his captivating voice and charismatic presence, takes on a full-fledged melodrama role alongside Seo Hyun-jin, raising expectations for their on-screen chemistry.
Dahyun plays Ji Hye-on, Jun-seo’s childhood friend and a book-loving editor with aspirations of becoming a novelist. Responsible and mature beyond her years, Hye-on has been a constant presence in Jun-seo’s life, even filling in for his often-absent older sister. Unbeknownst to her, her long-standing friendship with Jun-seo has blossomed into something more. Love Me marks Da-hyun’s drama debut, and viewers are eager to see her showcase her talent in this new role.
The production team shares, “A slightly selfish relationship where only my worries are serious, only my life is passionate, and only my feelings are faithful may be the image of an ordinary family. ‘Love Me’ depicts the story of an ordinary family growing up while blossoming into the love of Hwa Yang Yeon Gyeom. In addition, we plan to look into the emotion of ‘everyone’s loneliness’ through those who love because they are lonely and are lonely because they love.” They added, “Therefore, we have perfectly cast an actor who can provide stability and trustworthiness for ‘Love Me,’ which requires delicate emotional acting more than any other work. We will put even more effort into perfection and come to your home theaters as a well-made drama like a piece of literature.”
Love Me is based on the Swedish original series of the same name created by Josephine Bornebush. It was also remade under the same title ‘Love Me’ by BINGE/FOXTEL in Australia.
