Playing as Liang Chen, Lulu Xu transforms into a talented and passionate singer. On the other hand, Lin Yi portrays the fourth-year computer science student and known streamer, Lu Jing.
Set to promote a popular online game, Liang Chen asks his friend, Sun Bin Yu (Harry Hu Yun Hao), to guide her. Losing hope to teach Liang Chen, he contacts the popular streamer who happens to be his neighbor and friend.

Another character that interests me to continue the series is Ma Shan Shan’s (Zhong Dan Ni) story.
Zhong Dan Ni portrays a heavy role in which she successfully expresses her emotions. Known to be a popular comedian and actress, she hides a huge scar behind her smiles.
When she steps onto the stage, Ma Shan Shan transforms into a completely different person. Behind the scene, she always wears her earphones and pushes people away.
Furthermore, she and Liang Chen are schoolmates and dream to perform music. Ma Shan Shan’s passion and inspiration were adrift when his boyfriend cheated on her.
Since then, she stops pursuing music and steps away from the place she feels alive the most. Nevertheless, Liang Chen and Sun Bin Yu supported her until she came back to her spotlight.
Shen then forgets her second love and reunites with her love for music.
Love Scenery Series Musing
C-Drama is not usually my cup of tea but I can slowly see its potential for creating top-notch stories.
For me, the first few episodes of the series have a weak start. But as the main characters start to intertwine, it slowly grew on me and wishes the two to meet.
With an e-sports genre, I love how creative the production team is in taking its audience to the gaming world. Lin Yi also featured his action stunts in movie-inspired game stages.
The supporting characters also grew on me and have their spotlight to tell their stories. Sun Bin Yu’s love for Ma Shan Shan encourages us to never give up on pursuing something we love.
Moreover, I noticed that they put on a lot of effort to produce a set based on the Kingsman and Tombraider movie.
The first half of the series has powerful scenes but the other half of the episodes became weak. Yes, Lulu Xu Lu and Lin Yi have heart-fluttering chemistry but their romantic scenes are cliche and simple.
I wish they added a more intense climax and continued Liang Chen’s and Lu Jing’s game scenes.
Furthermore, I also noticed some offensive dialogues and scenes. To write and produce a story for a wide audience should be well-thought.
Nevertheless, Love Scenery is a feel-good drama for those who want a lighter story with addicting soundtracks. The series also reminds us to choose what we love and tell stories through our crafts.
