Love Under The Full Moon Quick Plot Recap
Played by Ju Jing Yi, Lei Chu Xia escaped a tragedy that occurred in 2011 after finding herself traveled into 2021 during the Supermoon. She then fell from the moon and met Xu Xiao Dong (Zheng Ye Cheng).
Lei Chu Xia lost all of her memories and noticed that her fate ties with Xu Xiao Dong to stop the effects of the time travel. Though Xu Xiao Dong pushes her away, he eventually helped her to regain her memories.
They then found out that their past intertwines. Together, Xu Xiao Dong and Lei Chu Xia tried to correct the past, thus also finding love and transcending the universe.

Finding Your Sunshine Through The Winter
Xu Xiao Dong grew up alone and bears his regrets for more than ten years. During the time his father needed him the most, he still can’t get over his mother’s death.
He starts to rebel and give problems to his father – who is busy running their company. Ten years later, Xu Xiao Dong hides his identity as “Winter” and created a video game that gained much love and support.
As he tracks and investigates the culprit behind his father’s death, he only has his best friend Jin Jiao Rui (Zheng Fan Xing) by his side. Xiao Dong also created his dad’s invention, Turing, to assist him with the information he needs.
Considering that he spends his time catching the culprit, he was not able to enjoy his youth and does not have the time to find love and take care of himself.
However, the appearance of Lei Chu Xia in his life melted away the weight he carries and gave him the strength to continue what he promised. Through her, Xu Xiao Dong relived his memories and “travels” back to his youth.
Like a ray of sunshine, Chu Xia gave more warmth and light to Xiao Dong’s dull life. He now faces every day with anticipation and cherishes life more.
Cutting Off Toxic Relationship
Love Under The Full Moon shared how damaging it is to stay and save toxic relationships. It gave a new light about it and pertains to how it does not only happen in a romantic relationship.
An unhealthy relationship can also occur in friendship, family, and even with ourselves. After finding out what happened ten years ago, Lei Chu Xia quickly ended her relationship with Wi Xuan He (Yalkun Merxat).
From her memories, Chu Xia did her best to persuade Xuan He to stop his plans that he will regret. However, Xuan He did not listen to her, and for Chu Xia, it is already a red flag for her to stop.
On the other hand, Qin Yue (Shen Yao), Xiao Dong’s former classmate, proves her love and trust in Xuan He. She knows that he still can’t move on from Chu Xia. Nevertheless, she stayed by his side and helped him get over her.
Even though she knows that Xuan He is only using her, Qin Yue continues to trust that he will change and return her feelings. But after finding that he lied and hurt others, she finally saw her worth.
Her character communicates that we should not forget to love ourselves and cut out our toxic characteristics. When we correct ourselves, the right person will magically come and finally see our efforts.
Wei Xuan He’s character also proved that there is enough room to correct our mistakes and pursue what we truly dream to do. Though he is the root of the incidents that happened to everyone, his story also touched heartstrings.
He showed what will happen if we do not love and be passionate about the path we take. Even though the damages are made, the universe showed Xuan He’s mistakes and gave him another chance to live life without bonds.
