Yun-Shu (Xu Ruo Han) is your typical college student who just wanted to graduate and pass her thesis. Knowing her personality, she’s a warm-hearted girl and can be trusted.
Being a college student, Yun-Shu likes drawing and reading manga. One day, she bumped into Zhang Si-Nian (Miles Wei) in a coffee shop. Si-Nian puts on a poker face because Yun-Shu tainted his shoes.
Later on, Yun-Shu realizes that the man she bumped into is his professor in her statistics class. Different from the personality of Yun-Shu, Si-Nian is a logical man and always relies on facts. He’s also serious and doesn’t care much about romantic relationships.
Moreover, when Yun-Shu is scheduled to present her thesis, she came late because she needed to go to her cousin and sealed a house property under her name. Si-Nian failed the thesis of Yun-Shu because she came late in a matter of minutes and causes her delayed graduation.
Frustrated, Yun-Shu went to the apartment that she brought from her cousin. She was amazed by the interior design and how neat the place is. However, she was shocked when his statistics professor, Si-Nian, went out of the bathroom wearing only a towel!

Good Combination of Lead Actors
When I first saw the lead actors, I anticipated that they would have a love and hate relationship because of their different personalities. Even though the plot is not new, I love how Miles Wei & Ruo Han portray their characters.
Being a rational person, Si-Nian doesn’t fall in love easily unlike other men. He made sure that his feelings for Yun Shu is real because love isn’t just a game.
Moreover, the relationship between Si-Nian and Yun-Shu isn’t easy because they started as false lovers to meet the expectations of Si-Nian’s grandfather who has an illness.
Along the way, as they pretend, their feelings became genuine and Si-Nian realized that he has fallen in love with Yun-Shu. He confessed to Yun-Shu, not knowing that Yun-Shu had also fallen in love with Si-Nian.
Their synergy exceeded my expectations and gave me a warm feeling as they meet halfway even though they are too different.
Warm Plot Results in Stress-Free Drama
Just like my other review in Intense Love, this drama offers a heartwarming story that doesn’t have many dilemmas to face. Being in a student relationship, both the characters proved that love has no boundaries as long as you do not step on anyone.
Even though they fake their engagement, Perfect and Casual has a happy ending because Yun-Shu and Si-Nian get married for real. They also decided to take care of Si-Nian’s grandfather.
Perfect and Casual Series Musings
When I read the drama’s plot, I got a hint that Perfect and Casual would also be one of those dramas that has a light story. As I watched every episode, I love how their personalities contradicted.
Si-Nian is an epitome of a good man who has good intentions. He doesn’t fall in love because of the outward appearance of Yun-Shin, but rather he sees the good in her.
I think this is one of the important aspects that we should consider when we start to like a person. Assessing your feelings is one way for you to know if what you’re feeling is a genuine one or it’s just an infatuation.
Overall, I love how the characters successfully gave justice to their portrayals, even though the plot is not new it’s still a good drama to watch if you’re looking for a light drama that would give you a fluttering heart.
