A sweet school romance series gears up for an ever-after in iQiyi original’s Exclusive Fairytale!
Exclusive Fairytale threads on the story of Ling Chao (Wen Junhui), a sensitive and independent overachiever who falls in love with his childhood friend Xiao Tu, a carefree and adorable girl played by Zhang Miaoyi (张淼怡).
The inseparable duo meets a roadblock along the way when Xiao Tu mistakenly believes that she has feelings for Yin Zihan, portrayed by Xiong Aobo (熊奥博), and nearly breaks friendship with Ling Chao.
Wen Junhui is well-loved among fans for his plethora of talents – from singing, songwriting, dancing, and even acting, which he has been recognized for. He has played prominent roles including his earliest role as Lin Zhihong in The Pye Dog (野·良犬), in which he was awarded the Best New Performer Silver Award by Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild in 2006.
He then went on to play a supporting role as Young Ip Man in The Legend Is Born: Ip Man, and main roles in My Mother (我的母亲) and Intouchable (男神执事团).
Meanwhile, Zhang Miaoyi gained a strong foothold with her role in the film Dream of Red Mansions. Thereafter, she appeared in dramas including Out of the Dream, Please Don’t Spoil Me, Let’s Meet Now and When I Fly Towards You. This year alone, she is set to appear in four dramas. Next year, she also secured three new dramas proving her growing popularity.
