Yang Yang and Dilraba Dilmurat’s collaboration dropped an update we all have been waiting for!
Scheduled for 2021 airing, 你是我的荣耀 You Are My Glory traverses the quirky story of a celebrity who meets her old crush, when one of her endorsements get entangled in a scandal. It is based on Gu Man’s novel of the same name.
The esteemed author has produced quite a number of works spawning drama adaptations. That includes Just One Smile is Very Alluring (Love 020), which also starred Yang Yang.
For her newest role, Dilireba portrays a celebrity e-sports brand model, Qiao Jingjing who has little to none existing skills in the world she is endorsing. Inevitably, it caused her a problem and she reconnects with none other than her old crush Yu Tu, to be portrayed by Yang Yang. Their reunion is because of her decision to enter a gaming competition.
Yang Yang will play the role of aerospace designer Yu Tu, a high school classmate of Qiao Jingjing. There’s a tidbit of e-sports element here making me wish the season 2 of The King’s Avatar to materialize someday, since I love TKA just as I dote on Yang Yang.
Previously, their character posters were already revealed. It flaunts the love pairing in dreamy posters. The character stills dropped on December 16, also include the rest of the main cast.
That includes Pan Yueming, Hu Ke, Alan Wang Yanlin, and Zheng He Hui Zi.
