tvN’s Honeymoon Tavern recently aired its first episode wherein three pairs of newlywed couples went to Udo Island to enjoy their honeymoon.
Directed by Lee Woo Hyung, Honeymoon Tavern is made for couples that got married during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regular members Tak Jae Hoon, Kim Hee Sun, Yoo Teo, Moon Se Yun, and EXO’s Kai are task to be the tourist guides of the couples during their stay on the island.
Moreover, they should cook, assist and make sure that their rooms are neat.

Exploring Udo Island
The inn where couples would stay is set on the beautiful island of Udo. If you love to watch variety shows, where you can see stunning seascape and smell the ocean’s breeze, then you should include this show on your list.
In the first episode, members roam around the island to get familiar with the area. They also check different stores where they can buy food to cook for the couples.
Udo Island is located on the coast of Jeju, South Korea, and is known as the largest island in the city. Moreover, the island produced major agricultural products such as sweet potatoes, garlic, and peanuts.
Yoo Teo is very happy that he found a meat shop so that he can efficiently do his task as the chef.
The island provides a good ambiance for couples to enjoy their stay in the Udo Inn.
Great Show for Food Lovers
Aside from the great view that Honeymoon Tavern paraded, the members are also decked to cook several appetizing dishes to share with the couples.
Yoo Teo cooked a soup with tender pork that Moon Se Yun loved. Se Yun also appeared in 2 Days and 1 Night and also loves to cook. Their tandem is much anticipated as to how they will serve food that the couples would never forget.
Moreover, Kim Hee Sun eagerly operates her unique “snack bar” as she took charge of the snacks and shared her potato appetizer. Married for 15 years, the actress showed her warmth by making simple snacks that she treasured.
Since peanuts are also one of the main crops that Udo Island has, the members also bought peanut ice creams and took a photo holding the ice cream.

Different Life Stories
On the other side, the show is also open to the different stories of the three newlywed couples.
Even though on the first episode there are not many shared life stories yet, expect the upcoming episodes to unveil significant stories.

Full Efforts of the Udo Inn Team
Just like the first episode release, the whole team did their best in serving the couples.
Tak Jae Hoon who played the manager role happily drove the couples on the way to the inn.
Meanwhile, Yoo, Moon, and Kai assisted all the couples and entertained them, asking questions about their married life.
What piques attention is the hard work of Kim Hee Sun. She got a call knowing that the first couple arrived earlier than expected. Even though she was alone in the house, she still did very well in handling the situation.
She also did not hesitate to come back and forth serving the couples. Kim also said that it’s tiring yet fun.
The team deserves many claps for their first day in making the stay of the couples very special.
In the next episode, actor Ryu Deok Hwan is set to visit the members in Udo Island.
