Concluding this week, the enthralling SBS series Adamas consistently served gripping moments for K-Drama viewers.
Credit to the efficiently utilized cast, Adamas received the support that it deserves. As the series closed, the lead actors expressed their feelings about the series ending.
Ji Sung, who excelled in the dual roles by portraying twin brothers remarked how dear the series and his roles are to him.
“I thought it seemed like it had just started, but I feel regretful to think that it is already over. Suhyun and Wooshin were great challenges for me as well. The past days when I struggled to express two people who looked alike but so different were a very special time for me.”
He also said, “I want to express my gratitude once again to the staff and actors who worked hard, laughed and cried together for a long time. I hope that ‘Adamas’ will remain in your mind for a long time. Thank you for loving the drama.”
Impressing viewers with her remarkable performance, Seo Ji Hye felt blessed to be part of the series.
“I am happy and honored to be here. Adamas was another challenge and learning experience for me. I feel fortunate to be able to leave this work meaningfully with that knowledge.”
Likewise, Lee Soo Kyung, who played the role of Kim Seo-hee, a journalist who lives for justice performed with all her heart has only warm words for Adamas.
“The character ‘Kim Seo-hee’ was a character I had never played before, so it was a new challenge for me. I had a lot of worries while preparing the character as a social worker reporter, but I was happy while acting and it was a work where I learned a lot. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the actors, staff, and viewers who loved the drama and Kim Seo-hee.”
Heo Sung Tae, who deeply portrayed the dramatic change of Chief Choi who caused a reversal in the series also thanks the viewers.
“Chief Choi was a responsible and charismatic character, and I was very grateful to be able to play such a role. I thank the director and writer for entrusting me with such a wonderful role. I was able to finish the work safely because seniors Lee Kyung-young and Ji-sung guided me well.”
Lastly, Oh Dae Hwan, who made the story tremble every week as a brutal team leader without blood or tears, said, “I sincerely thank everyone who watched and supported ‘Adamas’. It was really nice to work with good drama, good staff, and good actors. Because of that, I was able to shoot with a happy and grateful heart despite the difficulties.”
